that when I look at him now

he doesn't seem as

obnoxious as he once was?

I'm not exactly sure

how he is different,

but he has matured

through some quirk of fate.

How is it that

I don't really mind

when he makes up facts

justifying what he does?

I'm noticing now

how he doesn't jump

to conclusions right then

but decides now to wait.

How does he have

more love from all

even though he still

plays all those pranks?

I'm sensing less

how cocky he feels

when he always seems

to be the one right.

How is it he

can sneak all around

with such great ease

in the dead of night?

I'm feeling confused

why my emotions now

bounce around by him

instead of going blank.
