| That was SO sweet. I love the bit where it's talking about "The Voice" --- Harry sounds like such a child, so frail and vulnerable, and it just heightens the emotion of the piece. It really pulls the entire thing together, somehow. I also loved your choice of song --- it's really beautiful, and suits this fic perfectly. |

What a lovely story. I don't usually read fan fiction, I am old, I'm afraid, and chose my reading material carefuly, there being so much to read, so little time :) but I started reading this particular story because of the title and the name of the author, which seemed to be lifted from Tolkien. And yes, the idea of Harry's condition has clearly been lifted from Tolkien, only, that of course, the King was not there to bring Harry back like he brought Merry and Faramir and eventually Sam and Frodo himself, though we are deprived of the details of those last two healings (sigh, deep, deep sigh).
But it is a lovely little story nevertheless. It would be nice to give Tolkien credit though, maybe more people would read his work which is magnificent at a level not quite met by Rowling, don't you think?
Oh, one more thing, you wanted to say "The love he had channeled had been an awesome and awful force that had obviously had some effect" not, affect.
Keep writing, Pippin, you are good, very, very good. |

Thank you for this story. It chronicles a "happy ending," but realistically, and with awesome tension. (I hope Jo has the taste and courage to allow Harry to survive, too.)

| Wow. Wow wow wow wow wow wow. Amazing... I love it! I also love the song... I'm listening to it right now, and it's a perfect song for endings that are really beginnings, and love, and understanding, and love, and rest, and love, and finding what you seek, and love, and love... :) Beautiful. Brilliant. Outstanding. |

| Oh Dear... thank goodness he woke up, you had me sitting on needles and
pins there! Nice story, I like the idea of killing Voldemort with
channeled love - it'll be interesting to se how Jo does it.

Very, very nice.
The uncertainty of the piece, combined with the sweet ending, are all that a rabid H/Ger could want! |
