I thought he was DEAD! I almost cried. Well, I did kinda cry. Anyway, I was happy to see it was just a memory charm ... ohh, angsty fluffiness ...

Hey! Look I'm sorry for not reading or reviewing it sooner. You know me...or at least I hope you do! It's okay that you didn't win but I got to hand it to you, you were the only person who did Ron/Hermione summer/angst. It's a little harder to compete when all the rest of the writers/readers prefer H/G. You know, I still believe you should of won, it was really really, I mean like really, brilliant. And sometimes I hate you because you have better writing/grammer skills than I do! (But I still love you don't worry ) Continue to write smashing good stories Mate and knock them all dead next time. I know you can! -HisGirl |

Excellent story! Completely in-character, and truly angst--poor Ron, unable to remember things; and even worse for Hermione and Harry at the beginning, at least, when they knew what he should know, what he had been like...
Very, very nice job. |

Ahhh... such sweetness.
Ron and Hermione holding handsesssss... we liked that, didn't we, Precious?
The Weasley Clock line... heartbreaking, but brilliant.
Thanks for the great read - this is my choice for the winner.

This is such a great short. It's unique, angsty, and heartwarming all at once.
"Arguing isn't helping anyone," Harry interjected. "Just forget it guys, all right?"
"That won't be hard for me," Ron said. "At least I'm good at something."
That line broke my heart! Poor Ron. You wrote the beginning so well, hinting at what happened. Brilliant work. |

Oh that was wonderful. Ron was very in character as Ron-with-no-memory. Hermione's and Harry's devotion and frustration were both in character. At first I thought Ron was dead, but then the memory thing made such an interesting (and angst-filled) twist. The Weasley clock was a great throwaway line. There were lots of them in this story.
Ron losing his memory is such a nice nod to CoS where that almost happened to him. And having Peter inflicting it made the rat betrayal all the more poignant.
I'm glad Ron got his happy ending. Excellent story! |

That was very touching. Awesome portrayal of Ron and Hermione. I loved how Ron came back slowly and how dilligent Harry and Hermione were in helping them. But most of all, I like how you didn't have them kiss. It wouldn't have been natural, but the hand holding was perfect.
