| I am reminded of a scene from Monty Python (I think it is The Search for the Holy Grail) when the French (John Cleese) hurls insults at King Arthur from the battlements of the Castle Ug. Very funny, and great job. |

Oh my... It has been a while since I laughed that hard, that many times, in such a short period of time! The concept is... hilarious!
I probably didn't even get half of the obscure references, but the meaning behind them is pretty clear.
Yes, the text is really confusing for the first couple of "pages", and though it does gain some clarity down the line, it is still very... strange.
Not the best written work I've read (language- and story-wise), but certainly one of the most fun! And that's saying something! (If you know me, anyway). Great work! |

Oh wow. At first I was a little confused. But, I think I got most of it. But, what I did get, it was really good and really funny. |

| I loved this fic. I was too awestruck to even laugh. My only thought through this was: They aren't... I finished reading it and laughed so hard I choked myself. |

You have absolutely NO idea how hard I laughed. My dog started crawling away from me in fear. I nearly fell out of my chair. This was perfect and I loved it more than anything. My favorite scene was the very beginning, with the starting of Australian accents. Oh God, I was laughing so hard! This was a wonderful story, very creative, and amazing writing.
And the humor, of course, was the best I've ever read.
Thanks so much for sharing this with us!! |

Bloody awesome, mate! If only JKR had half your sense(s) of humour. The world needs more of this imaginative-ness.
Professor Katzenjammer - nice one. (Even if it is just about the only German word I know.) |

Oh, Godl! I can't remember when I've laughed so hard! I almost fell off my chair, and I think I did wake the baby up at one point, although she fell right back asleep. Even if I don't get all the Aussie references, it was absolutely brilliant fun. I have to say the second section was the funniest, although there were lots of supremely funny bits. It was just the longest stretch of hilarity in the story. Thanks for brightening my weekend!!!

Explanations of obscure Aussie slang and references are available on request, though it's probably best to take them to private e-mail. |

I've seen Crocodile Dundee; Aussie insults are understandable to anyone who watches Neighbours and this is an absolute hoot. Yay for Aussie!Harry - HP would have been very, very short if set Down Under. |

Excuse me now, while i go soak my head in a 44 gallon drum for the better part of an hour. Best combination of Steve Irwan and the "typical" aussie i've ever seen though. Just remember, if you read this fic, this is not how aussie's talk, apart from the Stevie-Boy himself. I should know, I'm a Queenslander.
(and for clarification, we don't say "prawns/shrimps on the barbie". Hell, we prefer our prawns boiled, not cooked on the barbie.)
Apart from that? A+ Effort. Great work, especially the thought of the major mitchell (malfoy) with a load of effluence for brains. |

Hey, don't tell me about the prawns, tell the Australian Tourist Board. They're the ones who came up with that slogan for Paul Hogan. I prefer my prawns in a curry or fried rice, though the traditional plate of cooked prawns with a glass of milk is nice, too. |
