| wow, really powerful ... the writing and the emotions. I love your imagery. Especially the line where his wedding band is lit up by a flash of lightning - so well written, when it could have been just cheesy. I'm glad I found your stories. |

Awesome scene. Speaking from a Vet's experiences from deployments, you captured the lonliness and frustration well; especially the mistakely hearing something that isn't there. The description of the thoughts and emotions give this fic soul and you ended it with passion and determination.

| Sweet, but a little odd towards the middle. Very good, a little to serious for my tastes at the moment, but it was absolutely fabulous and actually made you think while reading it and after you finish it. Deifinitely not your ordinary fic (in a good way )! |

Aaaaaahhhhh that was abso-bloody-lutely wonderful! I felt like crying. It was so well done. They are so precious together, I love them and can't wait for them to get back together (because they will!). This fic flowed wonderfully, was the perfect length, and just - very well put-together. The characters were very in-character and this could definitely have fit after HBP. Excellent job.

| I love wartime fics, and you did a good job here of capturing the grit and constant danger of Harry's situation -- the tent walls, the mud, the sort of hazy intelligence that they must rely on. I liked Harry and Ginny's interactions, too, although I would've liked to see more action rather than the characters' descriptions. |
