| Truth to tell, I've never been a huge Ron/Hermione fan, but this is very nice. You manage to keep them both entirely in character and give us a very satisfying glimpse into their lives and thoughts. Thanks! |

| So cute! I especially loved when Hermione woke up with Ron's arm around her, protective and loving. And I loved Ron's response to Harry and Ginny's pose in the common room. Excellent job! |

It's a toss up for which of your two fluffy first fics I like best. Over at Checkmated I have to go with "Firelight," but I think rereading "Knight" here has swayed me in that direction. They are both wonderfully sweet and your fluffy Ron is one of the best.
A brush with death could be exactly the thing that brings Ron and Hermione's feelings for each other out into the open. I like Hermione's reaction to finding Ron in bed with her. The love, the embarassment, the wanting to tell him off, everything, it all works really well.

Thanks critmo! I'm thinking he was waiting very patiently (patiently for Ron anyway) for her to wake up but got tired. Not wanting to be too far away in case she did wake up, he just laid down next to her. How's that? |
