Absolutely brilliant--your work gives me chills. It's been weeks since the publiction of DH, and I've been in serious Harry Potter withdrawal. Finding this story was like stumbling across another book 7. Thanks so much for the gift... you are an amazing talent, and I wish you all the best in your future writing efforts. I'll look forward to reading any other fanfics of yours, and hope to someday see your work at my local bookstore as well!
I love your work and I have read all of it. You must be channeling some of JKR creativity, as this scene seems to be depicted right on the cover of the book!! It is a shame and, I suppose, compliment that people are sending this story around as the real deal. I have made sure to link all of this leaked nonsense back to this site and tell people that you put a disclaimer on EACH page to let them know you are just borrowing the characters and having some fun. Keep writing. I throughly enjoy your righting! Maybe you'll be able to pick up where JRK leaves off.

Oh, thanks so much! Hee - I was a bit stunned when I saw that cover myself, lol.
Thanks so much for spreading the word about the leaked version, I do appreciate that.
There is a site called PotterFicWeekly that does podcasts of certain fics. They are about to start TSH (this weekend, I think). There is a forum where you can post some comments to be discussed in the podcast.
Wonderful scene. I love the use of a dragon. And Harry can feel the magic. He needs to tell his friends to keep that to themselves like Moody said. I bet that Muggle man out for a walk was Simmons. Voldy will know now and will be watching them. I wonder what kind of punishment his death Eaters will get for this. I'm glad they're all going back to headquarters but I fear Molly's wrath for them. I hope they can hold up under the pressure especially Hermione. She caved when Harry went to Godrics Hollow; let's hope she doesn't again but she is a different person now. Two thumbs up
A replay of the first task? - I'm afraid that Ginny got her history right, but you didn't. The Parthenon is a temple with a rectangular layout, it does not have an arena and the roof isn't open, so Harry couldn't possibly "soar into the blue sky". - Quite a lucky stroke that the dragon could eliminate the horcrux ...

Here's the link I used for the information and picture of the Parthenon:

Aww wow brilliant! Finally got back in to catch up, this was a very well done chapter. Another Horcrux done and dusted.. as they say.. I love your work so far, you really are a talented author and you are fast becoming one of my top favourites!
love it love it love it! i have been following this fic for a while now but never got around to posting a review (so sorry!) but i have loved every single chapter of this work and i think you are truly an amazing writer. i read this chapter and found myself thinking that i was reading book seven. you have a wonderful creative knack and i am absolutely thrilled for the next chapter and the chapters to come!!! :-)
Awesome chapter! I really didn't see the destruction of the Horcrux coming but it was a great idea. Kinda reminded me of Lord of the Rings -- the only way to destroy The Ring of Power was the Crack of Doom (or whatever it was that destroyed it in the end) or from fire from an ancient dragon. So the Horcrux kinda worked like that.
And of course, the twisted side of me somehow likes to see Harry get severely injured. Not sure why. I'm just weird lol! At least Mrs Weasley's maternal instincts towards an injured Harry should override her fury! And the fact that Ginny remains unharmed should also pacify her.
Hi Melindaleo. Yet another belated review I'm afraid, I'll have to see what I can do to reverese this lamentable trend. But now onto the important stuff: the review!
This was a ROCKER of chapter - I mean WOW! This is like the best ever - forget chapter 34 of PoE and chapter 29 of CoD, as good as they are they don't hold a candle to the nail-biting action is this chapter!!! I swear that after I had read the action of this chapter I was thinking that this was up there amongst the best action-scenes I've seen on cinema, like Ob-Wan/Qui-Jin/Darth Maul lightsaber duel in Episode I or the climatic Obi-Wan/Anakin lightsaber fight at the end of episode III - it felt that real and vivid and powerful and fast and furious and tense and WOW, basically. I could write praise-words for a long time and still not be able to convey properly how much I loved the action between Harry and the Dragon - to qoute Ron "Bloody brilliant!"
The whole set up of the chapter, the way you told it made the tension almost palpable and real - a real nailbiter. I think you captured the characters aboslutely spot on and your story-telling rocks like KISS, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones and The Who all playing at the same time - unbelievable!!!
Your writing has matured immensly and this is so impressive, so PROFESSIONAL it's scary. If authors like Dan "Da Vinci" Brown can make zillions on other peoples stories I don't see why wouldn't be able to make it as a pro! I would certainly pay to read your books!
Excellent stuff, thanks for writing and sharing this!!!!!!!!!!
End of the seat adventures. This was great. I read the shortest horcrux fic[2 chapters], last night. it was the best short fic ever. Yours is the best long fic ever. I await updates anxiously, Thank you for this one. No reply necessary. just know I am enjoying it. J.
