I am just pausing to tell you that I am re reading your wonderful story ... and not in a million years would I reread JKR's DH as it was boring ... after reading yours (I read this story before DH came out) ... and you nialed so many things so much better.
Thanks for the great story! I am so addicted, lol. Your protrayal of Hermione was right on the target. I'm going through hair loss and it is upsetting regardless of age. Keep up the good work.
The little bit about childhood memories is really good. Congratulations on the way you made Harry react differently depending on the memory. It makes it real
“And you keep yours on as well, by the way,” Fred added, waggling his eyebrows at Ginny.
I love that line. Briliiant.
I am a big Weasley fan - Ron being my favorite, followed by the twins. I think you've done a great job writing them as characters. JKR would be proud. Not sure about the Malfoy thing just yet. Can't wait to see how that turns out.
You are a superb writer. How do you get such cool ideas? Draco's teaching was nicely done by you . It was a nice idea of Harry to use Dumbledore's pensieve ! This chapter rocks!!!
I loved seeing Harry uncomfortable and acting like a normal teenage boy with the magazines they found at Dung's. It was very appropriate that the twins were the ones to show them to him.
Ginny really is more of the heart of the group that keeps them all supported and on track whether they know it or not. Her giving up her hair was very selfless.
Harry showed real smarts for removing the memories before his lessons with Malfoy and I'm glad the Order can't get to them. I'm worried he mentioned precautions in front of Remus. I hope no one searches his trunk looking for clues. I also hope he's taken precautions over his trunk.
But I do believe the Weasleys will step up for him now if someone brings it up or Moody will.
Yes, Malfoy is definitely a pain in the ..., and the way you write him things are not likely to get better. I'm surprised that the Order think this could work, personally, I doubt it.
I just love how you bring these charatcers to life. From the touching momentswith H's wig to the sit on the edge of my seat moments with Draco, I am so hooked! Thank you so much! I can't wait for the next chapter.
Thanks for writing. I was looking for chapters on another website, something about being abandoned, did a google search. . . . found you.
I'm interested in reading anything you write.

Thank you! I was a little confused by your message. Did you think this story was abandoned or you were searching for another story that was abandoned?
is your malfoy gunna turn? i get that he's on the side of good at the mo, but he's still very much malfoy... (hee, i've never had the chance to use this icon before!) and for the record, i don't want a PoE ending for him...
LOVED the scene at dungs where they found the magazines- cracked me up!
and can i just say, playing on the heart strings much?! that scene in the kitchen gave me a lump in my throat right along with harry!
*contented sigh* can't wait for the next chapter!

Heh, I used that icon for the first time recently, too. Kind of fun, isn't it? I'm glad you don't want the PoE ending - it's more fun to try something different.
Glad you liked the scene at Dung's. I had a lot of fun with that, and so far I only got one negative feedback about it, so I'm taking that one as a success, lol. Thanks much!
amazing as usual.. although, i am feeling a little void on the Harry/Ginny action, they don't seem to be able to spend much time alone together, you know what I mean. oh well. looking forward to the next chp!

Thanks! Sorry for the lack of h/g "action" lol. It's hard for them trapped in a house full of Weasleys. They will sneak their time in, though, don't worry.
i still love this story. it just keeps getting better. I check your website daily for updates. i felt so bad for hermione. im glad ginny and fleur could help. im interested to see why Harry's head still hurts even though its not snape.

Hi Boo. You don't have to check every day, lol - I'm trying to stay within the 7-10 day range, depending how cooperative real life is.

Wonderful chapter, will Harry remain vigilant? I could see Malfoy for some reason being able to help Harry with the Horocruxes, I don't know why, but I do. Keep up the excellent work and update soon!

Thanks! Malfoy is an interesting enigma for book 7, isn't he? There are still so many possibilities for how to handle him. Ultimately, I still think the Slytherin will do what's best for HIM, no matter what that may be.
Cool chapter. The way that Ginny and Fluer were able to help Hermione was very sweet. I also liked Harry's chat with Mr. Weasley, it seems a bit overdue, but still something that Harry needs. I wasn't sure what to think about Remus in this chapter though. On one hand he was obviously protective of Harry, but he also seems to have the Order's agenda in mind. I'm also a bit concerned with Malfoy. I would think that after the past year of desperation, learning of his inability to murder, and now being exiled and relying on his enemy, that he might have lost a bit of his swagger. He seems over confident for someone who's on the ropes. Maybe it's just me though. Anyway, great job writing this. Your plot expands a bit with each chapter, but you also keep the main focus in the readers mind.

Thanks! You're right on both counts with Remus. He does want to protect Harry - but he also believes the Order knows best. One thing that stood out to me very much about Lupin in HBP is that he's a follower, not a leader. He never even considered questioning DDs authority. He now believes that Snape interfered with the Occlumency the first time, and before that DD thought it best, so he wants Harry to learn to block Voldemort, and believes this is his best shot.
