| I found this...odd. Harry seemed too emotional for my tastes, and I know you meant there to be a twist for people not expecting Hedwig, but I didn't take that as a good thing. I could maybe, maybe see him acting like that if it were Ginny...but Hedwig? Sorry, no. Too close to bestiality for me. |

I do want everyone to know that I didn't mean it to sound like beastiality. Hedwig was really his first friend in the wizarding world and I really think he would feel sad at her death. |

You had me fooled. I had to read it a second time knowing that it was hegwig.
I think this line started telling me it wasn't ginny:
"He remembered the day they met; it was one that he would never forget. Her beauty had stunned him, as did her beautiful eyes."
I was thinking; he didn't fall in love with ginny the first time he saw her? When I got to the final twist it all came together. I didn't want ginny to die. Lovely story and wonderful ending.
