I don't think I've ever reviewed this story before, though I know I've read it before xD. I forgot how much I loved it! And usually, I don't review until I reach the end or am doing a reread almost immediately after reading it once, but I just have to after reading that last sentence. It just made me go 'Aww'! Anyway... xD I love your writing, Melinda! I've found a couple of typos, but they're tiny things and very rare. I love how Harry's going to 'take charge' now and I can't wait to see how he does it! *goes to read more*

Oh good god this was sincerely the most heart-wrenching and terribly amusing drunk-ron-and-harry writing. What a chapter. You leave me feeling, obviously, anxious and eager for the next installment that I, regretably, must save for tomorrow, but somehow still your words are filling me. I don't fear or cringe; it's honestly like *they're* reaching, speaking to me too. Wow. It's not groveling, or flatery--just how it is. Thanks.
“I’m drunk not,” Harry said, staring at the ceiling. He furrowed his brow. That didn’t sound right…did it?
That was genius. I also love the slight romantic pieces and am feeling honored at naming George's g/f Shannon (that's my name) I am waiting to see when Iris and Fred will get together. I love the parts you write for the twins...Ron and the twins are my faves
Not crazy about Umbridge, but it wouldn't be much of a story without her, right?

Heh, I've thoroughly been enjoying your take on the piece as a whole story as you wind your way through. Thanks for all the comments! I'm a huge Twins fan, so I'm glad you think they're right. Umbridge is evil, but necessary, yes, and JKR did say we'd see her again in book 7
Drunk Ron and Harry, that was fun! This was another really good chapter. I liked the mixture of intensity and levity that you've presented, and I almost get chills thinking of what Harry is about to do in your next chapter. I cannot wait.
This is my first time to review, mainly 'cause of the fact that I started reading this fic only yesterday. But I'm loving it from the begginning.
In my opininion, of all the seventh book fics out there, yours is the best.
I can't wait to see how will Harry deal with Umbridge. I just hope that there isn't any DE interruptions during his speech or whatever it is.
Great job. I want someone to squish that fat toad. This does not sound good. Is Harry finally saying he IS the chosen one? it gives me goose bumps. I cant wait to see what he does now.

Yes, well, Harry IS the Chosen One. As for someone squishing the toad....just hang on. It's coming.
FANTASTIC!! Harry drunk & then with a purpose!! Nothing better than a galvanized Harry! I like that. I enjoyed this chapter alot. Nice action - more **@! from Umbridge, a little bit of complaining from Draco. I was intrigued with Anastasia Parkinson - a Slytherin who actually seems to think.
Can't wait for the next chapter. This is a great story & I'm really enjoying it!!!!! Thanks a lot, Melinda!!!

I'm glad you like galvanized Harry. There's one more blow that needs to happen to really set him off...so just wait for it I do think Slytherin's think - they just usually think for themselves first. I don't think of Mrs. Parkinson as bad, but she'll choose to do what's right for her first, it doesn't mean she wants anything bad to happen to the others.
Erg... It just keeps getting darker and darker. Loved the drunken banter twixt Ron and Harry. Too funny. That and the magic carpet ride - the fun moments are like diamonds sparkling against a background of darkest black velvet. And what is Harry up to now? I hope our hero doesn't get himself into too much trouble...

Cringe! You think it's dark now? Cringe...well, you know what they say about it always being darkest before the dawn, right? I tend to think the 7th book would have to get dark, particularly with Trelawney's second prediction about the Dark Lord returning - greater and more terrible than he ever was, right? I'll try to keep some ligher moments in there to perk it up...but the next couple chapters might be tough.
I really liked this chapter. This story is one of my favorites (top 15 and Ive read quite a few stories) along with Curse of the Damned and a few of your other stories. I can't wait for the next update!!
o0h and I have loved all the chapters I haven't commented on before. I'm not sorry to say that I have no constructuve criticism to offer. I love your writing style and the detail is perfect and I simply love your work.

Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it and I hope you'll continue to do so after the next one when things start to get really rough. Dun dun dun....
Just wanted to write a brief note letting you know how much I'm enjoying this.
Only one thing... "Shannon" is an Irish name. That makes it extremely appropriate for a young British witch. I'm sure someone else has caught that already, but it was bothering me.

Thanks! I thought Shannon was Irish, too, but from what I heard, it's actually used far more often in America than Ireland. Go figure!
I seriously love Drunk!Harry, but never as much as I love him the way you write him! I seriously bow down to your supreme writing talent. And I'm glad they know Percy didn't betray them. Amazing work. I know I say it all the time, but it's just so true!
P.S.: I wanted to apologize for all the typos last review!!!!
