Well, regardless of it being cannon, it makes it no easier to read. You're right, people die in war, and they really would have wanted it to be together; at least you had the decency to not have them new parents, that was a devestating blow.
Loved the Empire reference, and as soon as the whole scene started, I thought of it. Clearly, the whole good vs. evil thing plays out in both worlds.
I'll say it again, another breathlessly wonderful chapter.
I was devastated when remus and tonks died in DH and was hoping that you wouldn't kill them off as well. It's actually quite scary how you predicted their deaths. It's all your fault! (haha, just kidding).
This is an epic fanfic you have here and it has me enthralled. uber job :]
I'm re-reading this story, i read it before DH, and it made me cry when Lupin and Tonks died in this story then, and it makes me cry now. I guess you were right about Remus and Tonks. At least your story didn't leave an orphaned son of thiers behind. This really is a great story. Yours is the first fanfic i ever read and it hooked me, i'm even trying my hand at writing now.
One of my greatest desires was for the Dursleys to, somehow, see the power that Harry is capable of: to know, finally, what he is. I hoped JK would do it, but she didn't. Thank you for that. You're right, it does work. Great. I finished this chapter with tears in my eyes.
Oh, MAN! Three down, how many more to go?
Bloody brilliant writing, though. I\'m off to read more tomorrow. Hard to stop reading as it is, but I do need to sleep, I suppose...
How...DARE...you...kill...off Remus and Tonks...
How could you?!? You really made me cry! I'm going to curse you or call you names. I'm going to never forgive you for killing those two.
OMG! Melinda I just sat and ead this thing all the way through...I have heard D and Nink talking about it but still blown away!
The whole thing from the Parkinsons and Malfoys having to rely on Harry to the Horcrux hunt is wonderful. I am only sorry it took me this long to read it.
(I won't yell at you for kill the good. I know that has to happen and sadly agree with your choices. )
Eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

Squee! Oh, I'm so pleased to see your name here! Although, hearing D and Nink have been talking makes me nervous. I'm happy you're not yelling at me and hope yoy enjoy the rest.
Ahh Remus!! My gosh, you hold no punches! Wow. Still, I loved the way Harry got out of control when his emotions erupted and became so much more powerful. Another hint towards love triumphing in the end.
Anyway, that was an amazing chapter; I was biting my nails, the tension was so palpable. It reminded me a lot of our muggle history -- of Neville Chamberlain trying to bargain with Hitler. I think you may have already made this comparison in this story, but I can\'t quite remember. =]
I'm not going to call you names.
I'm not going to tell you I'm appalled by Remus and Tonks fate.
I'm not even going to tell you "How could you??"
I just wanna let you know you made me cry.
I just hope the next chapter don't make me cry again.
Great writing as always, nonetheless.

Aww, sorry to make you cry, but I do think the next chapter will be difficult. It's very angsty and deals with the loss of Remus and Tonks, obviously. So...here's your fair warning, but Harr is understandably upset in the next one.
