I would probably place my money on Fred, but hey! Well done on writing Dudley, you really did well : i like this ugly similarity between Dudley and his interest in the death eaters !
*cries* I hope the real series doesn't have this many deaths... I mean... we barely knew cedric... I never liked Sirius anyways...and Dumbledore was innevitable... but Remus? Tonks? Percy? And whoever else you decide to kill?
I thought you weren't going to take Harry down the dark side? (You know why I just had to make that little comment. *snickers*)
Now on to the review - Yuck! As IF things couldn't get any worse, guess who's coming to dinner?!!!!! Poor Harry. At least Ginny was there to comfort him.
And what's this with Draco? I think he needs to switch names with Pansy! What a LOSER! Seeing him team up with Dudley was rather humorous, though. Birds of a feather...
That was a good job with the chapter. I like how you've got Ginny's viewpoint at the start with her so upset with being left behind. Then all of the events unfolded from a different viewpoint. Too cool! Of course, you really didn't need to remind us that you killed Remus and Tonks... I'm still debating on whether to forgive you for that. That said, I'm looking forward to the next installment. I hope the lights ahead aren't the oncoming headlamps of the Coast Daylight... (A really, really big train.)

Hee, Hi Hank! You must know me by now - I'll NEVER take Harry down the dark side, lol. I won't even read those stories. How come we never see stories were Voldemort all of a sudden goes good? Ha! Because it won't happen. The reverse is also true.
Now you've got me on my soap box. Anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying it, and I'm working on the next one. (You're right to hold on!)
Hey Melinda, hope all is well with you. Excellent chapter, focusing on some of the emotion going through our hero as yet more of the people he loves sacrifice themselves to save him. Last champter was without a doubt won of the best I've read in a story.
I'm loving the direction this fic going, with the mix of action, emotion, and imagery it evokes.
I wish I could say more, but I'd be writing for a long time
Your Longtime fan,
Trey

Aww, thanks much! It's nice to see you here and know you're still enjoying the fic. I'm working on an update.
Well, the final battle is getting closer and the wizarding world is in a crisis. What else can possible go wrong? Harry has to find a way of killing Voldy without killing himself!! Harry has to! Let Harry live!
As always, a fantastic chapter, and i'll be awaiting the next one!

What else can possibly go wrong? Heh! Is that a challenge
I'm glad you're enjoying it. The story should be about 34 chapters in all.
Excellent chapter, as always! I stumbled across this story unwittingly, and I was hooked at the first few words. I've pleasantly spent several hours reading this in one go when I really should have been doing something "productive". However, you've gained another fan for life. I love how you manage to keep everyone so very canon, and I can't wait to see what you've got in store for us next chapter!

Aww, thanks so much! I love new readers - especially those that review! I'm glad you're enjoying it - I've got plenty more to come.
Oo great chapter, It looks like people are beginning to get a little annoyed with Harry, even the ones closest to him, like Bill for example, they just want him to get on with it.. Its really realistic! (well you know, in a theres a secret world of witches and wizards that we dont know about kind of way) lol. Not sure but im begninning to think that Dudley has a bit more of a role to play in this yet..but I may be wrong, will just have to wait and see. Also love the way Ginny is right there for Harry, giving him the love and comfort he will no doubt need in the final battle.
Anyway, as always, i love your work and really cant wait for the next chapter!

I wouldn't say they're annoyed with Harry - just feeling the same kind of frustration. They've finally - reluctantly - accepted that it has to be him, but they don't know about the Horcruxes, so of course it's frustrating for him. I think having Ginny to lean on would make a huge difference for Harry, so I'm glad you enjoyed.
*gasp*
That's right! Why didn't I remember that? *smacks hand on desk* (ow.) It's so obvious now!
I love angsty stuff! I loved this chapter...Loved it. Geez, you're so good at coming up with these ideas! I want to see how close you got compared to the seventh book.
Well, I guess it wasn't the best idea to watch Braveheart, then read this chapter. I was the human waterfall. (woop.) I wonder what will happen next...
I'm happier now that Umbridge is gone...but that darn Voldemort... *shakes head*
I can't wait until the next chapter! I'm just glad that we can expect one every week. It's really nice to come home and read a hot, fresh chapter.

Aw, thanks! I love angsty stuff, too. It's always my first choice to read in a fanfic, lol. I'll get working on the next one.
I liked this chapter. Harry mourning by himself wasn't something I wanted to see and you didn't disappoint me with that one. I love how he actually lets Ginny in with only a little protest at first. If he let her in automatically, he would be OOC but he didn't at first which really suits J.K.'s Harry in my opinion. I've read so many annoying stories where either it's Sirius or Remus dying and Harry gets shut up at the Dursleys' or he shuts himself up in the attic or with buckbeak at Grimmauld Place by himself, hardly eating, not talking, and completely blaming himself. That would still be Harry but I can't stand it when that happens. I really like how you've set H/G up in this story and I also like where the story is going --well I don't like the whole Voldemort thing and Remus dying-- but it is a very good idea and you've worded everything perfectly. I also like how you have Harry going to Moody for help and how the aurors are at Hogwarts and wanting to join the Order. I don't have any flames or constructive critism. GREAT JOB!! I can't wait for the next update!!

Thanks! I think grieving this time would be different for Harry simply becasue he has a support system around him. He's usually shuttled off to the Dursleys and has to manage it alone. This time, he has his friends to offer comfort, and the experience of seeing how they all handled Percy's death. He's growing up. I'm thrilled you're enjoying it.
Angst is my first love too, so this turned out to be my favourite chapter so far (I hope this isn't the last angsty bit we see, you write it very well) , the scene with Harry and Ginny on the couch was just beautiful, how he had his face turned away was sad, touching and so very Harry. I also really liked Ginny making the parallels between her and harry and draco and pansy and how pansy seemed ready to protect Draco just like Ginny would for Harry. Maybe that's what she's been up to, some sort of mad scheme she thinks could get her and Draco out of this alive.

Aww, thanks! I'm always happy to find another angst lover! I'm glad you enjoyed the comparison with the two couples. Keep watching them
This chapter may have been angsty, but somehow it seemed to fit, especially coming from Ginny's point of view. It's good to see that the characters have a direction now, not just that they know where they're going, but that they have an idea of how to get there, or at least Harry does. I'm sure you have a few chapters left before we get there, and I'm particularly awaiting Dumbledore's "return". At any rate, you're doing a wonderful job writing this story; I have always enjoyed your stories because of the consistent quality of your writing, and this is no exception. Well done!

Thanks so much! You'll get to "see" DD in the next chapter. I usually try to keep everything in Harry's POV, but I do enjoy stretching it to the other's once in awhile - particularly on something like this chapter.
Splendid chapter! I love how Ginny was able to comfort Harry...and that he let her. Their interaction was so nicely written.
I'm curious about the Dursley's being at Hogwarts. I can tell there's something else going on there. I felt such strong affection too for Mrs. Weasley giving Aunt Petunia a hard time. Love it!
I think the story is shaping up very nicely. The more I read, the more I enjoy it!
