| Its so good to see Harry helping Ginny out - I actually really buy the fact that ginny would not be good be babysitting. And everything was so well written and sweet. |

What a lovely story! The characterization of H/G is spot on. I'm with you, for Harry, saying those 3 words would be difficult, knowing how he'd been brought up and the sad series of events losing people he love. So when he said those words *sigh* Go for it Harry, well done! And Ginny, we know she's a bit tomboyish and fierce and independent - yeah, with 6 older brothers, that's how to survive But deep in side, she longs to hear those words too. So I'm happy for her, hearing what she truly needs, a confirmation of how he deeply feels for her. And it's a good start, for a nice happily ever after future, |

Thank you.
But deep in side, she longs to hear those words too.
Trust me, any girl needs to hear those words at times. |

| This is a really great moment for Harry and Ginny. It is eye opening that Harry can work so well with Teddy. Of course he has had more practice than Ginny. Thanks for writing. p |

I think Ginny got better with more practice with Teddy which undoubtabley she got later. |

Aww Teddy hurt himself with one of his flying missiles. What a great story - when I read the title I thought it sounded very interesting and indeed it was
I like how you managed to capture the tension between Harry and Ginny - very well done
Keep the stories coming

| Harry being better at babysitting threw me. As did the fact that it took over a year for him to tell Ginny that he loved her. But thats exactly what I love about your fics, even when you write something that surprises me, by the end of the fic I come round to thinking that should have always been the way due to your excellent writing style. Keep up the exceptional work. |

It made me so happy seeing Ginny in a diferent kind of mess than her Rebellion times!
And I loved the connection to James entertaining Harry so many years ago |
Kathryn Friday 31st July 2009 20:35 | Red Faces (Author Response) |
| A very different mess indeed, this one was much more fun to write. |

| I have a hard time imagining Harry as better with toddlers than Ginny but that is what makes our stories different. Nice change of pace! |
Kathryn Friday 31st July 2009 20:33 | Red Faces (Author Response) |
True and as I tried to explain as well Harry has had had plently of time to visit Teddy while Ginny was still in school. |

| Aww, I really enjoyed this piece. You got the characters of Harry and Ginny perfect- as per usual. I love this twist of Harry being good at babysitting but Ginny not- it works, as I don't think Ginny would be the automatic 'takes to motherhood like a duck to water' woman. Thank You and I look forward to reading more of your fics! |

yes and at 17 she's nowhere near being ready for motherhood either. |

“My dad used to do it with me.” That Harry has such a warm memory of his dad is very touching. Such a better one than that awful flash of green light that we usually associate with Harry and his parents. Good job! |

Ginny really sucks at babysitting eh? Not something I would have imagined but I like it. And luckily she has Harry who seems to be pretty good at it.
