All I Need
This is a great story! I love Ron's sweet shyness and how completely out of sorts he and Hermione are with this change in their relationship. I'm glad he's proud as well as frustrated with how indispensible she is, too. You've captured them both extremely well.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I think it makes sense to see Ron as both proud of and intimidated by Hermione--I tend to see that as a feeling likely to continue through their courtship, and maybe into their marriage as well.

Interesting. I liked all of the details about minor characters like Dean--especially his wanting to comfort Andromeda. Good job.

Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you liked all the little details--though I probably tried to cram too many in there. I tend to think Dean's is one of the great, tragic, untold stories of DH; unfortunately, I can't think of a way myself to do it justice.

Many thanks for the kind words, Dad! I'm a slow fic writer--this is the only one I've gotten all the way to completion before--and I struggle with LJ as well. But I do hope to get a couple of follow-ups to this story written this summer, so stay tuned.
