Harry continued backing up as he watched first the head, and then the long body of the basilisk emerge from Slytherin's mouth.


btw just realised, shouldn't harry have been petrified bcoz he looked at basilisk while it was coming from statue's mouth...

OHYES. This has to be the most confusing and AWESOME Harry Potter fanfiction ever. NOTICE MY OVERUSE OF CAPS.

But really, this is a good fic. It's well-written, flows easily, and the characters are all very true to their canon selves. I was a little put-off by the extensive politicking in the first two thirds of the book, but I eventually decided that it was an important part of the story and put my annoyance to bed.

I sit eagerly rubbing my palms together in anticipation of your next installment, regardless of how long I may end up waiting.
