So, I went back through the chapters, and I humbly suggest your time-line is off. Ginny ignores Harry for the second half of fourth year. During the summer before fifth year, Dean writes to Ginny, causing the whole incident on the train back for fifth year. Harry finds out about Dumbledore's plan for Ginny the day after they get to Hogwarts for fifth year. Then, they go to Hogsmeade right before Christmas in Harry's fifth year, when Ginny gets "killed" and Harry goes back in time. Now, unless a year went by and you didn't tell us (in the story, I mean, not in your life ) then he's only in fifth year, and canon says they don't start learning until sixth year.
Anyway, I'm not too fussed about the Apparation snafu--I'm just slightly worried that the timeline discrepancy might mess things up later.

I'll go reread though to make sure. You're probably right... I'll make sure it doesn't impact any more of the story. I apologize, if you're doing a story involving time shifts, you had better make sure the timeline matches up! Geez..

One question, though. How did Harry learn to Apparate? He was only in fifth year when he went back in time, so he really shouldn't have known how already.

Hey Duke! I'm glad you still remember this. It's not my best work and the story doesn't quite feel right, but I'm going to plow on!
As far as your question, assuming I don't have my story timeline wrong (and I might, it has been a year since I've written on this story) the attack on Harry and Ginny should have happened during the 6th year not the 5th. As far as cannon goes, I believe the students began learning to Apparate during 6th year in order to take the test when they turned 17. I might be wrong, but that was the premise I was going with.
Wow! This is really something. What happens now? Are there 2 Harry's? I look forward to see how you work this all out. Thanks for writing again. I have really enjoyed this story and Look forward to learning more. p
