Excellent chapter. I actually got a bit of a chill reading the bit about Merope's grave.
I'm glad the Hogwarts team didn't win the game. I know the Cannons are the bottom of the league, but how awful would it have been for them to be beat by a bunch of school kids. Of course, I expect that after the first game they'll be much more evenly matched and Hogwarts will probably come a lot closer to winning.

It would have been unrealistic for Hogwarts to win that match for the reasons you mention. We'll see what happens at the next match.

Thank you, GK. A little suspense in the dialogue is kind of like aerobic exercise.
BTW, my excellent beta, Pascal, is going on vacation until the middle of June, so unfortunately this is the last update for a few weeks.
Of course it´s Harry to come up with some improvement ideas!
