More! Where's more?
There was something which made me wonder... What was it? I definitely need to take notes; your stories are so rich in details and actions that one makes me forget the other for a while...
Oh, yes, I remember: the dead house elf. Do you still think Voldy would have used the death of a house elf to make a Horcrux? I'm not suggesting it's not a murder, I love house elves, I'm just afraid Voldy wouldn't have considered it one - his lot thought the house elves to be a kind of domestic animals, therefore their killing wouldn't be a murder in their opinion, I guess. And once you don't believe you have commited a murder, you don't say the incantation or do whatever you need to do to make a Horcrux, right?
And thanks for the Ron-Hermione stuff, I enjoyed the image of Ron complaining about the amount of the floo powder Mrs Weasley is giving them (as well as her reaction - and Minerva's 700-year-old rug being ruined) soo much! Oh, and Hermione and her Encyclopaedia Magica - the girl surely loves reading!
Last but not least, thanks for doing Ginny justice There was far too little of her in the last book!
Anyway, more, please! Asap!

That's an extremely interesting observation about how LV would have perceived the death of an elf. It's a good point and very plausible. I guess I would say that LV in canon probably made a Horcrux after killing a Muggle (I think Dumbledore raises that possibility), which LV would have considered more of a murder than killing an elf, but he still would have thought it a less valuable life than a wizard's or certainly a pureblood wizard's.
There is also precious little in canon about how you actually make a Horcrux, which leaves it wide open for fic writers to create whatver we want, as long as it's reasonable. That said, I do think you have an intriguing theory.
I'm expecting the next chapter to be posted either today or tomorrow (Sunday).
Please please please don't let anyone die. Dobby is one of my favorite characters and it would break my heart if you killed him off. I hate cliff hangers.
Please update soon. I love this story.

Aww... Dobby is one of my favs too. I cried more when he died in DH than I did for Fred.
Thanks. I'm hoping for an update this weekend, but it's up to my beta.
I am so glad that Harry and Ginny are finally, solidly together. That is great. It is really good that other people can learn to perform the fiery Patronus. Moody was right. Harry has really created a very special spell that could help end the war. That and get rid of Dementors. Now they have found the last Horcrux but Riddle has trapped them all in a Death Chamber. How are they going to get out of this one with all of their lives? I look forward to how you solve this problem. Thanks for writing. p

Patches,
Harry's new patronus does come in handy, doesn't it? I'm hoping for an update in a couple of days; my beta has the next chapter.
