This is very good. I like the way Harry and Ginny interact. It keeps things moving and it is reassuring that they know what each other are thinking. It also helps them both to keep a level head. I wonder why Harry didn't tty to do something about Percy before things got so bad. Isn't there a way to check for the Imperious Curse? Even a poor muggle like me figured he was imperioused! Could Croaker have been Imperioused also? He seemed a little odd. Having such an animated conversation with Hagrid and not using the loo when it was available. Hours on the road will deffinitely make you want to go more often than he did. That and when they finally stopped he really had to go bad. I'm glad Hagrid is protective of Harry but they need to keep a clear open mind about the information they have. It is really sad that Mundunges is involved. I look forward to the next chapter. p

Hey Patches. I'm glad you are enjoying it. As for Percy, I think that when think you might have insulted the guy, you would be reluctant to think something was wrong with him. Anyway, it works that way in fiction.
And the plot thickens... What a great chapter! You really like to keep us on our toes!
Poor Percy... he has always been weak-minded. He was probably easy to Imperiuse. I really liked Hagrid in this chapter! I have always loved the way he defends the people he loves, without any pause or hesitation. Keep up the good work!
~ Will Harry perhaps buy the Snowy owl from the Post Office?

Yes, I've added lots of corn starch to the plot.
Your comment about Percy was a good one, something I had not thought about, but it's true. I wonder if it's his way of dealing with wht can be an overwhelming family at times. At any rate, he's disappeared to a location to be be determined later.
I don't think Harry would ever buy an owl named Mergatroyd.
Thank you for all your reviews. I appreciate them!
NEVER predictable - familiar. (which isn't a bad thing dear Peter)
Oh I thought it was VERY Percy to WEAR the cap, pompous as you said, what WASN'T Percy was his reaction - that's what tipped me off.. Percy would have come up with some snied comment not hid in the truck.

Ok, I'll accept familiar. I'm happy that you thought I handled Percy well.
This Chamberlain guy sounds like bad news. ....and I'm getting to know your style of writing VERY well - the mniute Percy reacted like he did about the cap I had a feeling he'd been Imperiused or maybe I just know the character of these characters.....lol
no questions answered yet but the field possible senarios is be coming more streamlined which, in and of itself eleminates some questions automatically.
we'll see about the rest...

Uh oh, I'm becoming predicable, at least to you. I kind of liked that Percy decided to wear a chauffeur's cap. Rather pompous.
