I hate that I cry when characters I like in stories die... I love Remus and can't beleive you killed him off. I honestly do not think Peter will ever (or should after what he did!) come back from Voldemort's side but that's just me... not JKR... I hope she doesn't feature a reformed Peter Pettigrew in the next book
I'm upset but for some reason I never can stop reading stories no matter how rediculous I find them... unlesss they are extremely boring...

I think that odds that Peter will reform himself in cannon are low. I think if that were going to happen we would have seen signs of it by now.
However, if anything was going to bring him to reform, I think Remus' death would be it. So I wrote it that way. |

YAY! Fred and George are the most brilliant minds of their age and should be hailed as such!
Poor Remus though...

Here, have a handkerchief.
I didn't enjoy killing Remus, but I felt he needed to die in this story. |

So much for vampires. Great job with that and the twins quick thinking on the wooden crates. I thought you were going to kill them on us there for a second. I guess, the death of Lupin was wnough for one chapter. But then you still might, kill the twins that is. Interesting to see that you are attempting to redeem Pettigrew. I have yet to see another author do it. |

Well, the twins threatened to prank me if I killed them off. What's a fanfic author to do?
Peter. Ah, Peter. I've been building that up for a long time. :-) |

Darn it. You really did kill Remus! I'm so sad. |

I'm afraid so. Look on the bright side - if JKR reaches my body count no one will be able to argue that 'they're just children's books'. |

I'm with Katie. You guys need to stop making me cry.
Geez, Gridley. Didya have to kill Remus? I'm interested to see where you go with this--I'm sure Peter was brought into the pictire for a reason.
The link between Harry and Ginny is getting more and more interesting.
And I was worried for a moment that you were going to kill the twins off, too. Luckily, you redeemed yourself.
Great chapter again, Gridley, and I look forward to reading more.

I can't kill off the twins! They'd show up and prank me to death!
I'm sorry I made you cry. Wait. I'm not sure I am. After all, I am writing action/drama here... should I be sorry? Prompt? Line? Anyone? |

Wood-cored ammo, eh? Interesting. |

I can't take credit for this - I stole from Ryk Spoor (Digital Knight, by Baen publishing). However I'm assured by a hand-loader I know that it is possible, and it seems like a great way to put a piece of wood through a vampire's heart to me! |

Vampires always give me the creeps and yours certainly gave me the willies. I love how the twins used the Reductor Curse and sacrificed some of their shop to stay safe until help came.
Nice chapter. I'm looking forward to the next one. Please post again soon. I really like your work. |

The twins have always struck me as highly creative, and I wanted to show how useful that can be in combat. Being unconventional is a great way to throw your opponent off balance. |

I loved this chapter. I'm crying, everyone here on the Song is making me cry lately!!
*small voice* You guys can stop that now
I love how you linked this:
"Do you really think he can make up for what he did?" Harry tried desperately to control his anger, and was only partly successful.
With this:
"He deserves it," Harry said after a moment.
"You think so?" said Lupin lightly. "Do you really think anyone deserves that?"
That was extremely powerful. I love the entire chapter, and I always like H/G bond moments, you write them so well. (der, they're yours! You know what I mean)
Looking forward to more!

I'm glad you like my H/G bondage (wow that sounds dirty when I write it that way...). Oddly enough, that came about almost by accident, but its become the centerpiece of my plot. Go figure. |
