That was perfect. I also like the part about Ginny hanging out

This was lovely. I enjoyed it tremendously. I love Ginny's
reaction to Harry paying attention to her. To have him constantly
around, whe she was unprepared to face him, the stress to her nerves
and heart were completely understandable. I would have lost my
mind a little too. *grin*
The flying scene where they face off was interesting, and I was
surprised that Ginny won. You do a great job of describing her
feelings of freedom, as if she's free, or unknowing, I guess, on her
broom-first when she is alone, and then when they face off against each
other as equals. I love that Ginny could hold her own.
Harry reaching for her, and again seeking her out was very
appealing. I was so hoping for a mid air kiss. *smile*
Wonderful job of having the 'Harry hints' fall into place for
Ginny. She shows her gryff courage by telling him her
story. Harry's confusion is believable- he doesn't have a lot of
experience with feelings.
You gave me my Aww girly moment (as you always seem to- Thanks for
that) but for me it didn't come with the first kiss, it came when Harry
kissed her back with all that he felt.
Beautiful job. Thank you for sharing, your story flowed nicely,
and the mechanics were wonderful. My thanks to you and your

Squee!! You're killing me with fluffy goodness, Michael! This one is my favorite so far. This section:
Harry's face remained impassive for just a moment, and then a frown tugged at the corners of his mouth and leaned forward across the table. "I...." He screwed his eyes shut, then opened them and squeezed hard on her hands. "I don't...know what to say, Ginny." His face lingered close to hers and her vision went dizzy as she slowly realized what he was hadn't said. His lips brushed hers, hesitantly, tantalizingly until her arm came up of its own accord and pulled his head until they made contact. Five years of pent up love and devotion; five years of repressed feeling, buried so deep that when it finally surfaced and went through her lips into his, it burned. Seconds ago, she couldn't find her breath, now she seemed to not need air at all.

That section was re-written at least twelve times before I was satisfied. Even then, there's still a typo. But if I can make Michele sigh, then it's alright. |
