Jeconais you are one of my favorite writers. Among Rustbyte, Imogen, Abraxan, and Ross (power of time). Ruskbyte has the originality that makes you want to read it. Imogen has these little traits of main chars that are funny to read about - like the sock stealing. Abraxan just has an amazing fic writing capability. Ross used, at the time, a new play on harry/dumbledore's relationship and on time itself and is a good read. You seem to utilize each of their characteristics to make your stories great. This one is hilarious, and since I dont read that much fluff, that should say something. |

That has got to be the most out of character Harry I've ever read. It was more like a combination of the marauders minus Peter. Harry showboating and attention grabbing like he was. Even with Voldie gone he never would have pulled anything like that.
That said, I thought it was amazing. The whole thing, sapfest though the end might have been. This has been the most ridiculously ridiculous and awesomely awesome story I've read in a long time.

I love you style, it makes me laugh harder then anything i have ever read before! i felt like a silly kid again giggling at some of the stuff you think up not only in this story but your other stories. You write harry in a light that we all want to see him in, you make him into the character he deserves to be, who i especially wish to think of him as. Never stop writting, you have a gift. thank you for you time. |

"Just set up a privacy spell," Harry replied. "But we can talk about magic later. I think that, with Commander Tom and the Masked Madmen making themselves useful by decomposing into fertilizer, I thought it would be a good time to address one of the things that is lacking in my life."
lol I love this
Sirius sighed loudly. "You're such a git, Harry!" Harry took a deep breath. Of everything he had expected when he was going to tell Ron about his sister, this particular response had been somewhere near the thought of Voldemort being resurrected and taking up a career as a French Can-Can girl
oh god! I couldnt quit laughing after that
Don't," Madam Pomfrey pleaded, moving her hand to block the wands path. "I've been wanting to see Sev's legs for years - this is my chance."

That´s brilliant to read about a Harry full of passion for life, so decided and happy after the war. Everyone seems to love writing about how miserable he felt, the people who have died and the tormented soul he was left with.
Despite that being the most likely outcome, your fic provided us with a much lighter view - the happy ending that Harry deserves and JKR won´t give him.
Once again, thank you.

Hehehehe. Cute. I love how you had all of her brothers commenting on
her "bad habits". It's such a brotherly thing to do. Oddly enough, I do
almost the exact same things. And a lot of the other girls I've talked
to said the same as well. I wonder if it's a girl thing. Leaving wet
towels on the floors, using guy's razors to shave your legs, leaving
dishes in your room, stealing unfinished books, clogging up the drains
with hair, completely and utterly true. It must be like raw cookie
dough. Most guys don't like raw cookie dough but most girls do. Must be
a girl thing.
Though, I have to say, the comment about the guy's razor cracked me up
especially since I recently ran over to my best friend/next door
neighbor's house and stole his razor from his bathroom and have been
using it to shave. He was less than pleased when he found out.

NIce. I could be one of those gits that beg you to continue this fic, but I won't.
It ended at the right moment, and it was NOT fluff, despite what you say. Emotion is never fluffy, and it was good to see a Happy Harry. I will never forgive JKR for killing POA's good, happy buzz with the Buckbeak killing/kidnapping. This story rocks, and instead of pleading for a sequel, how about another fun story with this same, joyful, happy Harry? That's worth a read.
Good work, all around. |

Whee-ee! Oh, this was great. Harry's powers are
wonderful. I love seeing him portrayed as the most powerful
wizard ever. Yes! He's playful, fair, serious, caring and
sincere. And he controls the elements. Gotta love the
guy. I also love the relationship he has with Dumbledore in this
story. And he finally got Ginny. The revenge vs Dean
was great. You had me grinning wildly a lot of times through
these three chapters. I love you making him 6' tall, so he's not the
midget some authors like to portay him as. I'm unable to give you
any examples right now, as I was too busy reading to care about making
notes - but you had a lot of great statements here.
I sure look forward to the next instalments in this trilogy.
One small nit: Ho Chang , should be Cho Chang, I guess?
Third 'page' from the top (on my comuputer at least), a few lines down.
I found something else, too - but that's long gone now. Maybe the
next time...
Wonderful. I am just filled with this happy, happy feeling after having read this fic. Thank you so much.

Ho Chang was deliberate, and while an Americanism, I couldn't resist

Dear Tim and Jaquelyne,
What an ending- once again you have made me laugh out loud. Great job on this story.
We start out with the Golden trio. We haven’t seen much of this interaction yet, and the contrast between those first years they once were to the almost adults they are now struck me for some reason. Maybe it’s the idea of Ron and Hermione snogging themselves senseless. Ron is definitely more confident. That said, cute moment when the boys realize some things never change. I laughed when Hermione automatically went into problem solving mode: Operation Get Harry a Girl. Hee Hee. Like he wouldn’t know who to choose with out a list.
Ron’s reaction surprised me. Is he just playing devil’s advocate against Ginny to ensure Harry knows what he wants? And if so, in order to protect Harry, Gin or both? Harry’s reasons for picking Ginny were incredibly sweet. I got that girly sentimental Aww feeling when I read the lines “How could I not choose Ginny? When we defeated Voldemort, she had this look on her face, this look of extreme happiness, that made her so radiant - and I want to see it again. I want her to look that way at me.“ I love that Harry’s sharing with his best friends. I only hope this finally gets echoed in cannon!
I can not believe Hermione’s question to Harry. Poor Ron. She almost killed him. Giggle. You both have really increased the humor in this chapter. It’s too bad Gin couldn’t help out on the prank.
What a lovely beginning to a day dream, and just when I thought I was going to get a little of that “interaction” I keep writing about, you spin my expectations around, making me laugh out loud instead. Only Sirius (or Forge) would intrude on his godson’s fantasy. The best was your narration of Harry explicit description of Sirius’s character traits. I just love getting to fill in those blanks . . .
Your Harry/Sirius scene has the best interaction between two characters, in my opinion. I mentioned earlier that I wasn’t sold on the idea of Padfoot as Harry’s absolution, or spirit guide I guess. I liked this scene better. I should learn to trust you by now. I stand corrected. I love that Harry’s protective of Ginny, and that Sirius is even now a little threatened by Harry’s power. Nice to have someone point out that Harry goes overboard sometimes. Ie., the sword.
Even more explanation of Harry’s powers- intriguing way to ‘leak the information' to both your characters and your readers. It’s a very sweet moment, both when Harry decides to turn in his pranking ways and that his mother knows her boy so well.
Ahh, sibling love. Now all the boys have chimed in on Ginny’s faults. I don’t blame her for wanting some revenge-but at least they gave their blessing. Nice read of Harry’s behavior by Ron and Ginny. It’s the type of thing close friends would pick up.
I don’t know whether to be impressed or horrified by the practical jokes you think up. You do seem to have a fetish for dance music though, as well as a gift for choreography. I love what you did to Snape. But now that I think of it, does it mean something that ‘his Sevvie’ is turned into the spice girl with RED HAIR? Sometimes the subconscious does things . . .Hee Hee, Snort. Giggle.
I don’t have it in me to hate Lav and Pav- I fell in love with them in TMW, and even now they’re not evil, just a little trampy. I’ve decided to make allowances. They’ve displayed such good humor and true friendship between themselves over the whole thing. Dean however must be dealt with. First he avoids her then name calls publicly? I thought they were at least friends. Revenge wrought by the smartest witch in a generation, the most powerful wizard in the world and two Weasleys is exactly what the mediwitch ordered. I hope it’s painful.
Finally my payoff. I’m so glad Harry didn’t waste any time agonizing over what to do. He just went after her and focused on making Ginny forget about the prat. He recognized her feelings for him and actually said he loved her first. And that kiss was worth the wait. I can picture Ginny jumping up for leverage and Harry grabbing her back. Too bad Ginny didn’t get to break out the nightgown in this triad, or the revenge on the Weasley 6 or Dean. I guess that’s left for the next trilogy? I hope, I hope.
Than you both so much for taking the time to write such a witty, interesting, sweet story where my two favorite characters get together. I can’t wait to read more of your work. Thanks as always to your betas, and the only nit pick I found, and I may be wrong, is the use of the word demeaning rather than demeanor in the Sirius scene. I could be wrong.
All the best from one fan of many

Tim, you are the absolute king of prank scenes! I was a bit disappointed when Albus and the Spicy Professors didn't actually singing "Wannabe" (or whatever the heck the name of that song was), but Snape in a miniskirt more than makes up for it! And if there was ever a line that's been screaming to be included in a fanfic, it's:
"Girl Power," Snape snarled,
[italics]Brilliant![/italics] If you continue this, I be looking forward to see what you do to Dean.
The Harry and Ginny scene didn't come out quite how I expected but you made it every bit as dramatic is your writing always is. Harry is quite manipulative playing Dean's words to his advantage like that. You could even say he took advatange of her ... if it wasn't for the fact that she was already planning ways to manipulate him. That's a nice contrast.
Anyway, you wrapped up this bit nicely. Now I'm left wondering what you've got planned that requires Harry to learn sword fighting from a dead man ...

Just finished rereading and wanted to make sure of something:
'"Fascinating," Parvati said, deciding to pull out the big guns - literally. She leant forwards, scratching her knee as if it itched, and then smiled up through her lashes at Harry.
Seeing his escape, Harry made a surreptitious movement with his hand, using the Wind element to knock Parvati forward, at the same time, casually taking another step backwards.
The top-heavy blonde fell into her friend, causing them both to topple to the ground.'
should that be Lavender?
Anyway, once again great story! Can't wait for part two!!! |

Tim, as usual, excellent work. You know, as much as Harry had help in TMW against the Weasley gits, maybe enlisting them in Chances for the revenge would be fun? Of course, that's after he and Ginny have fun getting back at them for their indiscretion about her habits. That should have been something for Harry to have fun learning about, the pleasurable way.
Any way we look at it, we must have either the next part of this trilogy soon, or FH. Keep us occupied my friend.
