Great chapter Antonia.  I think you convered James' feelings about his granny's death very, very, well.  It's hard, to be surrounded by death and sadness, yet have feelings of happiness.  It leads to guilt at your own pleasure, which you conveyed well.

I also like how you brought out the idea of the Animagi, the old newspaper article fit into the story well.  Grrr Umbridge.
