I really like this story. Harry actually being older than 17 to come against Voldemort. Now you need to add another chapter. So we can see who the painting is of. Is it of Riddle? Come on another chapter pleeeaassee!!!

before this one i finished waiting at which I left a review that it left me hanging wel I know understand it was because it was an introduction to this story and a bloody good one at that. I real like this story and hope that the rewrite of it will be coming soon because it is really good and the theme of harry and ginny coming to gether partly because of an orphanage for magic children is a theme which I and I think al readers love.
Seen that the las update on this orignal story is 3 years ago, I hope that you haven't abandoned this story, please continue this lovely story. |

Please try. I haven't abandoned it. Unfortunately, I've had some RL issues that have taken over, as real life issues tend to do. I'm planning on rewriting the chapters to fit HBP canon in, and then continuing with the fic. :)

| Just found your story and am loving it so far. I hope the rest is just as good. I like the idea and don't think I've seen another story with anything like it. The only one I know of that was even close was about Harry adopting Dudly's daughter once it was discovered she was magical and Dudly wanted nothing more to do with her. Can't remember the title or who wrote it, but I liked the premise. Looking forward to more! |

| The story you're talking about it is Caitlyn's "Lessons for Life", though I'm not sure if it's here on PS.net. It's a wonderful story, and her Parenting!Harry has partly inspired mine. |

| I just found this story, but I'm enjoying it very much. I think Miranda is very well done. She's full of conflicting emotions, but not over the top. Harry seems well suited to his new role as "older brother." I especially enjoy your treatment of Harry and Ginny dancing around each other. I'll be on the lookout for new chapters. |

Oh, it could be Sirius or even a bad portrait since this was a Black
house. Could be Bella or even Narcissa. Since the Black's were
Voldermort's followers maybe it is a portrait of him before his
incident with Harry as a baby. I can't wait to find out.
I do wish Harry and Ginny would just open their eyes and see what's between them and admit it.
This suspense is a killer. Good job. Hope to see the next chapter soon.

| I thoroughly enjoyed the first four chapters! Taking in an orphan sounds very much like something Harry would do, and your cliffhanger has at least 2 potentially fascinating directions for development. I look forward to seeing the portrait, and watching Harry learn the joys of parenting. |

I'm so glad you're continuing this story. It's definitely worth the wait between chapters. I love Miranda's character and how she's so much like Hermione. Everyone needs a Hermione in their lives and between Miranda and Ginny, Harry has two women who will keep him grounded...no matter what their ages.
I really like the attic scene and the fact that Ginny is flirting with Harry while she's helping him. I hope we see more of Edward Black in the future. He seems helpful and knowledgeable, though quite verbose.
I look forward to to the next chapter. |
