Why have you stopped writing? This is such a great piece of writing, and you shouldn't stop! I can't wait to read about Ginny's relationship wiht George and especially Ron. Please continue! |

When I saw this story come up on the "latest updates" list, it didn't
immediately grab my attention, but I finally decided to give it a try,
and I'm very glad I did. You have a very clear and believeable concept
of Ginny's character (and her brothers'), and your writing does an
excellent job of letting those characterizations show through. I'm
looking forward to reading more.

Hello again! you can a;ways find my full reviews at SIYE, but i thought I'd pop in to say, "Hello!" Hello! I love your work, and am SO glad your posting here; you've got to spread the word some more! Too many people are missing out! This chapter was just what I needed when I've really felt like this guy: (not to mention my slave drivers,) But now I feel like this guy: . Okay, so I'm a little bit smiley icon happy, but it's because this chapter made me happy!

Excellent bead on the twins via Fred. I imagine that writing
George in a significantly different manner will be difficult, but I
have faith in you. :P
Not as emotional as the first three installments, but this one is just as well crafted. Very well done.

I have loved this series, and am thrilled to see it appear on this
archive. These are wonderful character sketches. I look
forward to seeing you complete this series and will welcome whatever
else you have on the back burner.

After reading this, you have re-inforced my opinion that the twins are a bit more twisted than JKR shows us. The flippant things they say... you can never be truly sure whether they mean it or not, and I think you've brought that aspect of them out very well here.
Poor Ginny! How well I recall the flatchested phase (and the casual but cutting remarks) until I seemed to wake up one morning with two balloons stuck to my ribs. I really empathised with her here, so well done! |

just stumbled upon the story and i had to review.
I love your characterization of Ginny and her brothers.
Still wondering about the dedication from the first chapter though, why would arthur hate harry..

Oh dear! I'm sorry, I should have made this clear, the dedications are a personal thing, that first one was from me, to my father in RL. Hahaha, I'll be sure to clarify that in the next author's note. Glad to know you're enjoying it though! |

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this before. What was I
thinking? I've really been enjoying reading about Ginny's
relationships with her brothers. I feel like I've not only gained some
insight into Ginny's character, but also into the psyches of her
brothers as well.
Fred's teasing seemed spot on to me--exactly something a big brother
might say to his little sister. Family members tend to know
exactly which buttons to push, and which areas are most sensitive, and
they tend to hone in on those. So for him to tease her about
her...development... is extremely realistic. What made it more
hurtful to Ginny is that he did it in public--in front of a bunch of
older kids. Probably the only thing that would have been worse
would have been if he'd said something like that in front of
Harry. And of course, it always hurts more when they do something
like that and then (1) don't notice that you're angry with them and (2)
if/when they finally DO realize you're angry, they don't think you have
anything to be angry about.
I can just sense Ginny's frustration, because she loves Fred, but he was such a git that she really doesn't like him at the moment. That's a hard state to be in!
Looking forward to reading about the other brothers!

I've really enjoyed this fic so far. The perspective, the character analysis, the little vignettes...all very top notch. Even more fascinating than the insights into the Weasley brothers is what we learn about the Weasley sister. Bravo! |

And Fred is still alive after that joke? |

What a delightful series of stories! I love the Weasley's and your person by person portraits are a beauty to behold. Thank you, and I look forward to the rest of the series. |
