O-er! A beautifully described emotional rollercoaster of a chapter. First the junior DE meeting and getting caught by James. (how come he knew exactly where to wait? Had he followed them before?) Then under the cloak with him (nervy James!) and Lily's remarks about Dumbledore. I got the impression that old Dumbledore was pushing them together, almost like a breeding pair, if you see what I mean, with his 'both of you' remark.
The Quidditch pitch was very funny and yet very caring too. And then, just to throw in a spanner, Lily discovers her friend is in love with the same person! Oh no! Please say she won't have a fit of nobility and try to hide her true feelings...
Now I have to know what happens next... |

If I were Lily I'd stop being friends with Gwen. LoL. The incest, Gwen liking James when they are cousins! Ah! (They are cousins right, because she was saying Uncle Will...)

Post some more as soon as you can! Just to clear this up - Gwen and James's families are close, so Gwen called James's father Uncle William, but they are not actually blood relatives. Sorry for that is there was some confusion!

I hope you continue with this story, it's wonderful.
I can't wait to see more of James and Lily's relationship as it grows but I'd like to see more of Sirius and Remus.
I'm really enjoying this though - keep up the good work and don't make us wait too long for the next chapter :)

Wow, great story! When it first started, I didn't really agree with the whole James acting like he hated Lily thing, but things seem to be full-steam-ahead now. I just hope Lily and James officially get together soon.

*Gasps* Oh no! Gwen can't love James! That's Lily's job! *Sighs* Oh well. This is a Lily/James story, right?
Anyway, this was a terrific chapter. I especially loved the fluffy parts; ie: the prefect meeting, and the quidditch lesson (everything after that included!). I have a question though.. How long do you think this story is going to be? And, is it going to be more angsty? Anyway, wonderful job so far. This is one of the best L/J stories I've read yet (), and I can't wait for the next chapter..
So please update soon!

Generally I'm not a big fan of Marauder Era fics. I don't know
why. That being said, I'm falling in love with this fic.
You capture well the spirit of Lily, strong, confident, confused.

| I like this story. I'm a big James and Lily fan, although we all kinda know where it is going to go. I'm not sure what your plans are for getting to the point however, I would like to add that more unresolved sexual tension before they figure it out completely is always loads of fun, at least for me it is. Eithier way I'll still finish it till the end. Update soon. |

I'm really enjoying your story, and I'm very glad I branched out to ME stuff. Your characterizations of Lily and James are well-fleshed, and the plot is interesting and moving at a great pace.
Dorcas Meadowes? I don't know - I've never trusted people with random "e's" in their names!
