| Maybe, maybe not. When I first had the germ of the idea that grew into this story, there was never any intention to reveal who would get the wand. I think up alternate endings to stories all the time so wrote this to allow the readers to let their favorite character get The Wand. I must say that concept has generated a lot of discussion in the reviews both here and elsewhere! I do appreaciate everyone's kind reviews and encourage you to keep reading, writing, and discussing! |

I'm old, losing my hair and getting grey in my beard..Its stress like NOT knowing WHO gets "THE WAND".
I would love to see a wrap up of a couple of parts of the story-Like what wand Neville gets. Wether it is "The Wand" or another, I'd love to see your take on it.
Well its an great story and I'm awestruck. I feel like David Copperfield,"May I have some more please?"

Thanks for the great review! The gray in my hair is from work, which is why I'm always on the fan fic sites or writing.
As far as "more", hmm..... I'm playing with the idea of an epilogue, but nothing concrete. Until then, just imagine the possibilities! |

How terribly evil! Do you know who gets the wand? (I've
written stories where I did as you did here, and intentionally never
answered the question to myself.)
Personally, I tend to think either Ginny or Neville will get it.
Neville would be an interesting choice, but that might well cause him
to actually surp+blocked+ Harry, making it " Neville Longbottom and the ..."
Draco getting a wand that powerful? He'd start using it on people almost immediately. Yeesh.
Ginny, on the other hand, is brilliant as she is, and having the proper
wand, such as this one, would make her perfectly the complement and
equal of Harry.
Just my scattered thoughts on who gets it...

I have my own ideas about who should/will get The Wand. I like making up endings to stories which is why I didn't spell it out in this one. There may or may not be an epilogue, the muse hasn't hit me yet. But just imagine the possiblities...

Ahh!!! Cliffhanger!!! Wonderful story, though. I can't wait to find out the next part. In a peculiar sense, I think that I would be happy with whoever the wand chose, because each choice could have a different significance. Are you going to continue to follow this wand when this story is complete? That would be wonderful, as it seems like this wand could have a lot more to show us. Also, how was the wand made? Is there any story behind aquiring a hair from Merlin's beard? I'm eagerly awaiting your next installment! |
