Harry's a little clueless, isn't he? |

I loved that letter - normally those kinds of letters are all sad and stuf, but that one was just so... Sirius.
I also liked the fact that Harry didn't forgive Dumbledore easily. Sixteen-year-olds hold grudges
Can't wait to read the next installment. |

Yay - another chapter. Have a . I'm glad that Harry is finally talking to someone. Much more and I think he would have totally broken down. I also like the way you've captured the uncertainty he has around Dumbledore and the way he is trying to keep a hold on his emotions even when he doesn't want to. The episode with Kreacher in particular stands out. I think he may have been a bit more hesitant with Ginny but perhaps having made up his mind to talk he knows he has to or he'll never start. Next chapter soon please... |

What a fantastic chapter! I absolutely loved how you wrote Dumbledore, everything was perfect, I loved his speech too. What a fantastic job! I loved how Harry was overcoming his guilt, how you added Dumbledore's speech from first year! Such a brilliant job! I LOVED it! Thanks for writing it! |

Harry's received a lot of good advice over the years, but his life has always been so frenetic that I wonder sometimes if any of it ever sinks in. Faced with the possibility of losing Remus, as well as everything that has happened during his fifth year - and earlier - Harry's beginning to get a great deal of the maturity he was lacking in the fifth year. |

Wow, nice long chapter. I loved the Muggle meal, quite fun to read that, actaully. While I'm glad Harry talked to Ginny (neither Ron nor Hermione could have kept silent that long), I would have liked to see a bit of interaction between the too, Harry seems to have sorted himself out rather quickly without much difficulty. I think I was expecting more emotion. I really liked DD talk with him about his use of the Cruciatus. I thought that was really well done. I'll be waiting to see what comes next. |

Of all people, you know how angsty Harry can get when I write him that way
Ultimately, Harry will struggle with his issues regarding Sirius, Dumbledore and the rest of his fifth year to a greater or lesser extent throughout this story, but he also needs to move on if he's going to have any fun, and really that's what I wanted this story to be. It may not be completely in keeping with how he will act, but it's more or less how I think he could act, given the right opportunities. An honest Dumbledore and a patient Ginny - Harry was speaking more to himself then anyone else there - have helped set him on the path. Hermione, Ron and a number of others will help him carry along that path as the year continues. |

I must say I'm very surprised Harry has reached the
confessing/self-awareness point so soon, and slightly
disappointed. But, on the plus side, I thoroughly enjoyed
Sirius's letter.
And BtvS rocked. I mourn it terribly.

For all that Harry has suffered as a result of Sirius' loss, I knew that for my story to work he couldn't be angsting the whole way through. Author's prerogative: He found a shortcut
