| Everything too fast paced? Printed out your 2 chapters are nearly as long as a short book. I would rather get to the point,and seeing as how "your" point is "after" Voldy, you did it just right.Pykersotz,read the rest and you,ll know where it is going. I truly hate the idea of taking 7 books to finally kill old Voldy and guess that,s why I like Fics better. |

Hmm...Well, I give you full points for effort, but this story is a bit
lacking in, well, story. Your plot is well done, even if it does
seem to simply be a melding of every H/G shipper's dreams, but the
basic elements that make a story what it is are missing.
Everything is suddenly direct and in-your-face. Harry seems to
have suddenly aged 50 years or so. In fact, everything he says is
calculated, well thought-out, and witty. Because of this, there
is no more desire in the reader for him to succeed because he has
already succeeded. He has overcome his personal issues, gotten a
girlfriend, has wonderful friends, placates his enemies, and has raised
his intelligence massively. Just a quick killing curse sent at
the big bad guy, and we'll all go have tea and crumpets.
I think the fast-paced nature of the story is what affects it
most. In two chapters, you have done more than many authors have
done total in both Harry's 6'th AND 7'th year.
My best advice, slow down a bit and get to know your characters.
Get inside their minds and figure out their motivations for doing the
things they do. Then, show the process of them coming to terms
with their knowledge.
