great chapter...fun one to read.

Another wonderful chapter!  The dream was nicely written.  I take it the girl is Ginny and the male voice either Snape or Filch.  It's a shame he can't remember the details when he wakes up... I think them oversleeping was a nice touch. Ginny's dream confusing.  Did she come across Harry's dead body?  How was that possible?  I'm also little confused by Fred's reaction and by Hermione's appraisal of the whiskey .   I found the frankness when discussing sex amusing as was Ginny's response to Hermione's badly timed announcement that she is pregnant. 

I look foward to seeing more.  Can't wait for Ginny's confession though I certainly understand your reasons for not rushing it.

Ginny's dream should be explained -- if I remember correctly! -- by chapter six and certainly by chapter seven.  Fred's reaction should be explained quite soon as well (I hope).

Hmm, I don't recall Hermione's appraisal of the whisky, but then my memory's quite bad! :) I'll have to re-read that section.  If I remember correctly, she grimaced because she was worried that Ron would end up drinking too much and cause a scene, which he did.  I hope that explains things...

I was eating cereal for breakfast when I started this story. Then I was forced into one dismal meeting after another, each more boring than the last, hoping against hope that I might manage to escape to my office to 'check my mail'.

This story has a wonderful, unique flavor to it. I really appreciate the random meeting outside of the leakey cauldron. Well done. The transition between characters is also very well executed. I had no issues with who was narrating or what was going on. Great job!
