What a waste of a great story. Has the author had problems? Has it gone somewhere else? Shame.

This is a fantastic story, i'm enjoying it greatly!

Please don't tell me it's abandoned, or are you gonna update soon? *pleady eyes*

I'm so confused, but I'm really enjoying the story nonetheless. I think that Harry's sleepless confusion comes across very well, since the reader misses much of the same things Harry's missing.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Glad to hear that you are still working on this one. It's quite original and I love it! Believe me, I understand about computer woes!

Thank you, Melian. I am hoping I'll have an update soon, now that my prebeta is back. *snuggles prebeta* The computer is still being a bit iffy, but I've learned to persuade it to play nicely.

Oh, another quick one?  Why Dunsinane and not Burnham wood?
Wednesday 14th December 2005 07:13And in that Sleep (Author Response)
Heheh, because Dunsinane wood stuck in my head and the other one didn't!

This is a really awesome fic!  What would all of those emotions, experiences, and thoughts do to a person?  How would they be able to handle it?

I am thoroughly enjoying your view and twists with the HP kingdom.  Really looking forward to the next chapter.

July 14?
You wrote this and posted it over 4 months ago?
I get the flu, am stuck at home, reading.
And with my delerious mind, I find everything Harry is feeling quite spot on and understandable.
Then I hit the bottom of the page. AHHHH!
I LOVED the 'seeking the bean' scene with Harry.
Loved the little furry animal!
This is one of my favorite stories now. Please tell me it's not abandoned!
Good work. Looking forward to more.

Ah, sonicdale, I did indeed and no, it's not abandoned! The fic is finished and stuck on my pda until my friendly tech wizard fixes my 'heap-of-valves' computer.

The Bean-Seeking is one of my favourite sketches too, so I'm glad it appeals to you! i wish you well and over the 'flu soon. That is  no fun, even if it is a good excuse to indulge in fanfic! Thanks for the reviews, t'is muchly appreciated!

Well, I hope we don't have to wait too long. :-)

I've had this suspicion for two chapters  now that the little critter is Ginny, or some aspect of Ginny. When is Harry going to start asking questions?

Tuesday 18th October 2005 08:29And in that Sleep (Author Response)

Thanks, Gridley!

I've had this suspicion for two chapters  now that the little critter is Ginny, or some aspect of Ginny.  Have you now? lol! As Jo said, "Hmm, you're a bit good you are!"

The whole fic is finished but I'm having Computer Woes and can't get to the last two chappies at the moment. Hopefully, t'will be soon! Thanks for stopping by --appreciate it!

I remember feelings of sleep deprivation when I did shift work days/nights.  The first night on and the first day off was murder.  You've got the feelings of mind numbing lethargy interrupted by brief periods of adrenaline rushes and panic down pat!  Hope Harry figures out the creature is Ginny (is it a mongoose? kind of fitting with Harry's parseltongue, both being aimed at the snakes).    Happy HBP weekend!

Thanks Ruth! Happy HBP weekend to you as well. *squeee*

I'm glad you found the sleep-deprivation hit the right note. I was just the same when I worked nights/days. It grinds you down as nothing else, I feel. Will Harry figure it out... lol. Um, er, mmmm... He's a bright boy when he starts thinking.

"Voldemort had gone looking for another way to achieve everlasting life for his physical body. What had he sacrificed to achieve this?

He was looking to live forever – rule the wizarding world forever – but in undergoing these dangerous magical transformations to cheat death, what had he done to the rest of him?"   I hope Jo answers this.

And I wish Harry would look at what Bill gave him.

And I know what the animal is.  Ginny is an animagis--a mongoose!  And Mongooses eat snakes!

Well done.

Friday 15th July 2005 09:28And in that Sleep (Author Response)

Ah, Kelley, I wondered what you would make of this.   I really really hope Jo answers that question in, what --7 hours-- *shivers with excitement*

Harry will look at what Bill gave him. Honest. Ginny =mongoose Animagus. Heheh, you really expect me to tell you? Plenty of revelations next time. (Not too much delay for the gratification this time around, lol.)

Grin. I loved Harry's interaction with the furry little critter in he bed, lol!  And then Ginny's line about should he really discussing things with her was a hoot!

Poor Harry, though, is he ever going to get some decent sleep?

Friday 15th July 2005 09:19And in that Sleep (Author Response)

Well, thank you kindly, Melindaleo.   I do tend to drop Harry in awkward situations, don't I, lol?

Harry will start getting some decent sleep soon. Honest. Thanks for reading and leaving a review, I appreciate it!

*coos* Pretty! I've noticed that the little animal-majiggy never appears when Ginny is around. Like the greenhouse thing...*giggles* Also, I found Harry's 'acting' highly amusing. I hope you update soon.
Friday 15th July 2005 09:15And in that Sleep (Author Response)

Thank you Nimbirosa! I'm glad you liked it and that I could raise a giggle, as that was what I was aiming for. Yes, that's very true; Ginny never is around when the animal is... hmmm.

As to the update, well, that will come after KatieYaY! (My superberous Beta) and I have gorged on fresh canon. *Squeeeeee* Ahem. Sorry.

I really like your story.  It has a few twists and turns - so much so that I wonder if some of the things are really happening or is it going on in Harry's mind.

The animal that Harry is chasing - is it Ginny?  It seems to like eggs (like Ginny) and it enjoys the same bean flavors.  It has reddish hair and seems to want to comfort Harry.  She was able to help him with the essay for Snape because she has made the potion for the animagus.  She watched him from the window while he was working in the water (her class was waiting to go in the greenhouse).  I can only guess the reason that Ginny didn't get mad at or jealous of Harry and Parvati is because she knew nothing happened between them because she was there before Parvati was.  If Ginny really is the animal, she really should put Harry out of his misery.  The poor guy thinks he is seeing things.

Did Malfoy see one of Harry's other forms wondering around the castle on one of the nights Voldemort was tormenting him?

I'm happy to read that the story is finished.  I hope you have Harry demolish Voldemort completely.  You can let Ginny finish off Malfoy.  Please update soon and put us out of our misery!

Thanks for the great story!

Thank you, Shasta! Yes, I'm getting a reputation for being a bit 'twisty', as Bart likes to call me.

If Ginny really is the animal, she really should put Harry out of his misery.  The poor guy thinks he is seeing things.   I agree and you will see what happens next time around! As for Ginny finishing off Malfoy... that's a very attractive idea, but Ginny has another task in this fic. Thank you for the detailed review, I appreciate it.
