So, what? Are they going to Malfoy Manor or something? And wow. Good start. I would have never thought of it going somewhat this way. Very good. |

the only thing i've found truly odd about this story so far is how fast Harry comes to trust those tomb guardians. how quickly he tells of his prophecy and whatnot.
i dunno...i think that either it wouldve taken a lot longer for that level of trust to be built (as the only other ppl who know of the prophecy atm are Ron and Hermione), or that more insight is required to justify Harry's decisions.
meh...that's just me.
otherwise, this is...well, interesting, so far, but i have no idea where it's going, and the OFCs you're building up are quite...interesting? haha...yeah. time for me to read on. |

I was going to read all the way through before reviewing, but I have to say right here and now that this piece is fantastic.
Normally I'd be confused by all the new characters, but I'm really
finding Sully and Jackob alluring. Also, the idea that a Squib
and Muggle can help in the war is wonderful. I'm glad there are
more chapters up because I'm very eager to see where this goes.

Thank you kindly! Glad you're enjoying things so far. I'm glad you've
enjoyed Jackob and company; I've definitely enjoyed writing them. In my
view, there is more than one way to fight a war, and if you restrict
yourself to one way, you lose. Jackob, Sully, Maxwell, and Aiden are my
answer to that.

I like where this is going. It seems very plausible. I can't wait for the next chapter |

Wow, this is looking great so far!
Harry visiting his parent's grave was just great - sentimental and yet there is something to build the plot there too!
I'm looking forward to the next installment. |

Well, he certainly found something in the tomb didn't he.
Too bad you rusjd the sequence inside. I understand you needed to move the story forward but wouldn't Harry have had a stronger reaction to seeing his parents that way? Just a thought...
Again it's obvious the trio have made a leap forward to adulthood and it's nice to have them get the help hey need, the band of helpers have some interesting companions that shoud make for entertaining situations when meeting certain order members.
I wonder which dark wizard they'll choose to visit. Back to grimmauld place? Malfoy Manor? I'm waiting with baited breath for the next installment. |

Delani Friday 12th August 2005 16:20 | Flotsam and Jetsam |
Scandalous! The tale is just, to sound terribly review-cliched, riveting! I like the darker side of Jackob and the gradual introduction you're going for. Too many OC can be overwhelming at times. Well done!

You confirm some of my ideas why Snape killed DD (see my LJ). - Looking forward for more.
I'd like to have some dibs on that, too :D I think that perhaps Snape was ordered to kill Albus, because he was the only one loyal enough to do so upon Albus' orders? Not many would have.
Even forcing Harry to promise to force-feed Albus the potion was quite a task...And Harry *is* Albus' man through, and through.
Imagine how loyal Snape would have to be in order to murder the one who, in a sense, practically gave him a new life?

This is an awsome piece of written work! I hope that you continue, and also that you update soon. I'll be following this story quite closely :D
Hhhmmm...Interesting bit of history you put in the chapter's there. A letter from Frank Longbottom - very well carried out. Although, perhaps Harry would have had more of an emotional episode when he finally sees his parents tombs?
Well, anyways, good job and I hope to read more of the story yet :D |

Oh, and concerning the library: Grimauld Place or Grindelwald's? |

Indubitably. That is precisely the question to ask, and you are very sharp for asking it. ;)

ooh! Very good!!
are they going to Malfoy's library then? |
Thursday 11th August 2005 00:34 | Flotsam and Jetsam (Author Response) |
Thanks. And no, they won't be. That would be impractical for several
reasons, not the least of which being that Mr Weasley and his Ministry
co-workers would have confiscated a library of Dark magic if they came
up on it when they were raiding. Also, I feel Voldemort wouldn't want
to trust any of his Death Eaters with knowledge of the key to his
alleged 'immortality'.

Eee! I love this. :)
It's so gripping - it really keeps my attention, and everyone is so in
character. You doing a great job at keeping Harry the way Rowling wrote
him. It's helping me get used to his new grown-up self. :)
::waiting eagerly for more, faelaern!::
