this is a very interesting story so far...

while i think u stretched Ginny a bit too far out-of-character to make this story, it's still turning out well so far.

one thing i liked in particular is the whole story-telling narrative u used here, i think it fits well, and allows you to cover a wide time-span in a short time...and you seem to be able to put in exactly what information we need and whatnot.

lookin' good so far...time for me to read the rest of it...haha.

I'm glad you like it, but be warned. You don't know all the facts yet. - Thanks for complimenting the technique, it's a first. Hope you'll like it enough to leave more reviews.

wow, what an awesome story. very dark and well written. It moves along quite quickly as well. Please keep it dark for atleast 75% of the story! Most darker fanfic's loose conviction after a few chapters. I mean a happy ending is still what I'm pulling for, but after a ton of darkness it makes it that much better. good job!

Thank you.

I didn't like to kill Hagrid, but I needed to make Harry as miserable as possible (::grabs lamp off desk and begins hitting himself over the head with it, shouting "bad critmo, bad critmo, mustn't be nasty to master" at the top of his voice: to justify the title phrase ("per asperissima"). I thought that Hagrid's dead would provoke the most emotional response from Harry and my readers ;-).

Wow, that was a powerful chapter.  Harsh is more like it.  Poor Harry, he's down trodden and practically defeated.  Ah, but here's the rub, he has a power the Dark Lord knows not.  LOVE.  Once his true love comes around, nothing will stop him.  I can't wait to see how you turn things the corner and bring him back, and how you use Ginny.  This is shaping up into one of my favorite stories.  Keep it going.

This is so sad--I'm surprized Harry hasn't thrown himself in front of a scarlet steam engine by now! Is Tom back in Ginny's head, or is she honestly being this lousy to Harry? Looking forward to your next chapter.

Oh, you are just so cruel.

One thing, do you really think Ginny would not notice a voice in her head?

Apart from that, i am really liking this "alternative" look at you original idea.

Oh, of course, she does notice. After all, she reacts to what the voice tells her, she thinks about it etc. - But you'll have to continue reading to find out the reason, I'm afraid.

Wow! I take back the intense comment. It is dark and calling this intense would be an understatement. I hope your beta(s) hurry because I can't wait to see where your vision takes us.
