Moody is such a refreshing point of view to read, and I like your portrayal of him so far - the right gruffness and paranoia, but not overdone. I love the look into the early meetings of the second Order - it's a nice trip down OotP memory lane! You've obviously thought carefully about where Moody was 'at' at that point in the story, I had never thought about it before but it all makes sense (eg his thoughts about his previous year being locked in a trunk etc). A like Tonks, too, she seems just right. Now I'm keen to see the Percy story unfold - I love the idea of Percy spying for the Order, so I don't care at all that this is a little AU - bring it on!
