I once figured it was Sirius' brother. But I think I found out if it was or not. I will find out from you of course 'cause I'm going ot the next xhapter to find out!

Ooooh, mysterious. Very cool, and I like the way this is shaping out. After the sixth book I always had two important theories that I was CERTAIN would happen: 1. The locket would be that locket from the fifth book 2. That Ginny would lay into Harry until he surrendered into letting her either come or of returning to school. You've done both. Yay!

I never thoguht I'd say this, but you update faster then I can read it. How absolutely wonderful!

You made excellent use of similes in this chapter. my favourite was this one:

Then her eyes softened and the gold melted into the brown like caramel sinking into a vat of chocolate.

You had others that were just as clever. This one just made me go all gooey inside.

Harry is being a little weak, handing the responsibility of keeping Ginny from joining the group to Mrs. Weasley but I guess it fits with is state of mind. He's making a rapid transition into adulthood and that's bound to get bumpy along the way. The bit where he worries about promises to dead people really shows the adult in him coming out.

I do hope you'll include a chapter that shows a similar transition for Ron, say when they leave the burrow for their quest. He's bound to have his own issues to deal with, particularly being the youngest son, wanting to make his mark. We've seen some of his hang-ups show up in canon, like his moment with the mirror of Erised and the fight during GoF. It'd be nice to see what he's learned from that. In the very least you have to show us what makes him worthy of Hermione.

Nice touch on showing up RAB, a little fast but you like to keep the pace high. and it gives us a little plotline to look forward to, what would it take to get the horcrux from the locket?

*jiggy dance* Harry and Ginny are back together!! ?YAYY lol.

Great chapter, except I have a feeling Mundungus would have taken the locket when they were cleaning... I mean they did find one in Grimmauld when they were doing the clean up in book 5,,,

Anyways, brilliant chappie!! Can't wait for ze update!

Oh and on a side note, mayeb an update to The Bargain:Side effects would be cool

It's great to see a good take on year 7, and from one of my preferred authors.

You're off to a great start, both plotwise, and character-wise. Hermione was spot-on in the first chapter, and Harry and Ginny are perfectly in character. I'm so happy you write plot as well as you do fluffier things.

You've constructed a wonderfully plausible plotline, involving some of our favorite theories - Animagus!Ginny was terrific and perfectly explained and described. It makes sense that when they leave the Burrow after the wedding, Ginny would be going with them, whether Harry wants or not. I personally think that Animagus!Ginny will stow away on the trip.

The letter and diary from Sirius seemd a little contrived, but it's obvious they need to get to GP and (re-)discover the locket... but what if Dung sold it already?

You can bet that I'll be snapping up each installment! Keep it up!

It was a contrivance, I admit, but it was the simplest and best solution IMO. They needed to remember where the locket was and had I been able to drag things out more, I could have Harry had the journal for a few chapters before making the discovery, thus making it seem less contrived. I hope you will forgive this indiscretion.

As to the locket's current location.... Chapter four will get us closer to that answer, I assure you.

Thanks for reading!

Good chapter. It was interesting to see a note from Sirius after so long, especially one so helpful. I can't believe Harry is actually caving in on letting Ginny go though. Keep up the great work.

'Caving' is not how I'd describe what Harry did. Relented, maybe. Ginny's a forceful personality and he only agreed to let her go to Grimmauld Place (assuming that they'd just grab the locket and come back). Well... it won't be that easy, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the review!

Another wonderful chapter - and so quickly. You're spoiling us! Please keep it up! I enjoyed how you brought Harry and Ginny back together. That was nice. Also, the entry into the mix of Sirius' diary. That could make for lots of fun. Thanks for sharing!

Yay, Ginny's going! I felt bad for Harry in the is chapter. He is caught between a rock and a hard place, but Ginny's right and I'm glad he listened to her. Mrs. Weasley, on the other hand, that should be intense.

Sirius' journal was a nice way to figure out the RAB.

This chapter is excellent! In fact it could be a part of the initial plot of the seventh book. I think this is the best praise I can give to you!

Good (really good!) work!
