That poem is absolutely incredible! And the 'legend'- wow, that took some serious planning. And sneaky! But it works so well! I'm majorly impressed, I can't wait to read more now! A totally different angle on the prophesy, and tying it into mesoamerican cultural legend as well- fascinating! Hunter seems to be very much like Harry, especially in his relationship to Dumbledore- hopefully this will help them to connect. You've set the stage for a very interesting story. I can't wait! |

It was prophesied that Xolotl would return the true Prince to the world, ultimately saving it from destruction at the hands of the evil sorcerer, Tezcatlipoca. Xolotl is of course Stephen, Tezcatlipoca is Volemort and the Prince is Harry. Right?
*
Dumbledore is so cruel to remind Stephen about his dead wife and son.

Interesting... |

'as you very well know' -- aren't Dumbledore and Harry the only ones who know the prophecy?
Interesting legend, nice twist on Quezlcoatl.

Good catch. Maybe you should read and and find out exactly why DD would write that... It proves to be important later. |

This is so great! I'm so excited to find out how this story plays out. I wonder what past demons put Hunter and Dumbledore against eachother? I'm liking this new prophecy too. Very intriguing. |

Nice, begining. I was debating if I should start reading the story, and I did. So I hope it is a good one. It sounds good so far. |

Thanks. You should read the first story Home Alone: Shadow Rising first. It's archived here at PS. Much of this story will make sense then, especially by the end of Home Alone. The story is set in the summer over one weekend. The events from that weekend are followed up in this story. |

intersting... is Hunter an immortal, or just a decendent? What's Harry up to now? Can't wait to read more. |

Hunter is not immortal, nor is he a decendent of the people on the island. He is English, an ex-auror, and in many ways he is an older version of Harry. He's lost a lot in the First War with Voldemort and that's the reason he left the Wizarding World behind. The first 15-16 chapters chronicle the growing realtionship and trust between Harry and Stephen Hunter, with some mystery and action, angst and romance (via Harry's connection with Ginny), etc... in the chapters to come. The next chapter will be up in a few days or you can check it out on a different site. I publish on SIYE, WT, FF, SQ, and Checkmated. Please leave a review whereever you read. I love to hear what people think, even the negatives (however, being human... I'd rather hear the positives, lol...). Thanks for reading! |
