Shadow of the Serpent
I was feeling a little nostalgic for the old days and decided to reread some of my favorite fics? Can it really have been seven years since we were doing this?! I still love the stuff with Harry and Hunter on the plane. It still captures my imagination and makes me want the next chapter. Luckily this time it's just a click away! Hope all is well with you and the family.

Shadow of the Serpent
Well that was one humdinger of a chapter! All through the first half I was disappointed I wouldn't get to read what happened over the summer, and now after the second half I'm anxious to jump ahead! lol... Great writing, I'm really interesting as to what's in store!

This is good. Not what is happening to Harry, but the story is good. It is unusual that Claire would be a catalyst to Harry loosing control. Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. p

Was Bill the pilot? Or was that just what the stewardess was told to say?
Bill looked taken aback by this comment. Clearly it was not what he had been expecting. It was confusing to see the coldness between his two friends, and he wondered what had brought it on. Knowing that he had to do something to break the tension, Harry interrupted the exchange with a well-placed comment
-- I think you have some pronoun confusion here. The first he refers to Bill, but the his and he don't make sense if Bill is the referrent (as expected). Perhaps '. . . Harry was confused to see . . . '
So is Claire really hurting? Or is she making up a story to get Harry's sympathy?

i have to admit that was a bit confusing and I had to backtrack on a couple of paragraphs to get it right, but all is in place now. claire seems to have changed a lot from her old self, probably the divorce problem? well so far very well done, keeps me interested the whole way through. good work again!

That was very odd.

The change in time was a bit confusing for some, but think of it as skipping 7 weeks and then the story takes place as a flashback with other flashbacks embedded ing the story at the same time. Those are all in italics to distinguish them from the rest of the text. By chapter 15 the story catches up with itself and it goes from flashback to real time, beginning with the three landing on the Dursleys table.

Well written, as was 'Home Alone'. The story seems good, although I have little idea of what's going on. I know that will change directly.

I was glad to this continuation and so quickly too.

Thanks for reviewing. The story begins with a teaser and then rewinds seven weeks. Harry can't remember what happened after the park bench and has to piece it together in the coming weeks. He meets a new friend and mentor, has some more adventures, and gets into some more messes before he makes it back on the plane (ala, the first part of the chapter... but at least you know he's coming home, right?). He spends about 7 weeks on an island getting training and by chapter 15 is home again, stonger and more powerful, but still the same old Harry. Ginny remains with him through their bond and there is some fluff to come, despite the fact that they are miles and miles apart. So stick with me and I promise it won't be boring. If it is, please let me know, lol... I have 18 chapters written and they will be published quickly, two a week until I run out or until this is finished, whichever comes first.
