Ahhh! Omg what a sad chapter! This story is going so well, why don't you finish it?? Please do, I would love to see how you carry things out with the war and all. I'll even offer my assistance (which is all I can think of at the moment) if you need someone to bounce ideas off of or something like that. I'll even beta read it for you if you want! Now I see why this is not a pre-HBP fic like Part One, but AU. That bit about Slughorn came as a bit of a surprise.
But, anyway, it's still an absolutely lovely story.
So that was the first time they defied Voldemort... I can tell you I'm already scared of the last time they face him. That's the terrible thing reading this - I always have the bitter end in the back of my mind. But then, strangely enough, it's not *that* terrible because you write the story in such a sweet way.
I'm all anxious now about Gwen (have I ever mentioned I love that name, by the way?)... Pessimist that I am, I'd say she's dead. Is she?? You see that you have to update so as to answer my question, don't you? It's been a long time, obviously, and I really hope you haven't abandoned the story. If you have, read through it once more and take it up again!! (Wouldn't it be a shame to miss all my gushing reviews for future wonderful chapters? Joking.)
When you brought up the Patronuses, I wondered... Lily must have seen Prongs by now, but does she know that James is an Animagus? I suppose you'll write about that later (hint, hint, get writing).
And to finish this...“At least you weren’t hit on by Vernon’s mother.” Lily nearly choked when she heard this... Me too.

Oh no!!! Poor Sirius, Gwen dissappeared! Aw. Poor Lily, loosing her grandmother and best friend in such a short time.
I'm glad Lily was finally able to get through to her mother, she did some irrepareable damage though, it sounds like she isn't going to make it for very much longer. Poor Mr. Evans though, having to watch his wife go through that.
I really disslike Lily's Healer wizard whom she apprenticing with, making her make potions all the time, that isn't very hands on experience if you ask me. I'll be very glad when she gets reassigned.
I'm so glad James made it into the Aurors. Woah. The first time they faced Voldemort, Lily's already beginning to show her love powers. Brilliant! She saved James' life! Go Lily!
This is so depressing. Poor wizarding and muggle world. I can't wait to read the next chapter! |

I love this story so much -- I had to come and read it immediately when I saw the alert notice in my inbox. that real life for getting in the way of you writing this! =)
I think I saw everything with Mary Stuart coming the first time she was introduced, but knowing what was to come didn't lessen the emotional impact in the slightest. You've got some serious talent here. I can't wait to see how you take this story to the inevitable conclusion. |
