I'm glad Harry took Ginny to Privet Drive with him. It is good that she got to see where he had lived and the cupboard that the Durseley's kept him in for 10 years. That was horrible that they did that and Ginny needed to know. It is great about Ron and Hermione. That was good. Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. p |

Excellent story so far...enjoyed the first one too. Keep up the good work. I like that you have throughout the story made much more aware of how his reactions affect others, it definitely makes him a much better chracter and a lot less childish.
Looking forwards to the next chapter |

Wow. I think you're my new best friend. All I can say is bravo! I can't wait fot the next chapter. I completely agree with everyone who said that Grouchy Harry is cute! It's so cute that it deserves to be recognized with capitalization. Okay, I'm nuts. Nervous Ron is cute, too, I might add. Anways, back to the point. Love it, love it, love it and can't wait to read the next chapter. You rock! *bows down* |

Very cute with Ron proposing.
On the Order of Merin -- I had the impression that Dumbledore got that for defeating Grindelwald so it seems absolutely appropriate for Harry to get it for defeating Voldie , but knowing Harry it would feel uncomfortable with it
Are you seriously going to have Harry ride a dragon -- that sort of showmanship seems completely out of character for him. If he does than Snape ends up being right about him being a glory hog. |

I just plowed right on through the prequel to this fic, and now have happily moved right into these three chapters. All I can say is ... brilliant! I love how you characterize our favourite teens ... right on down to Ginny's outburst with the Ministry fellow. And the bit about Harry coming clean about the cupboard with Ginny was just perfect ... so sad and sweet ... but perfect. Loved it! |

Not much to say, except: well done. - Oh, wait. I think the point about Harry not telling anyone about the cupboard was well made. It's common knowledge among us readers of course, however, it's never mentioned explicitely that he has told his friends. It seems quite likely, indeed, that he wouldn't. |

Thank you! Every once in a while, I try to squeese in an alternative view I haven't seen before, and with so much fic out there, there isn't much left. It's awesome to hear when it's noticed - and appreciated! |

Oh that was just too sweet. Wonderful.
Harry merely grunted. Some things never change, do they? Grouchy Harry is so cute.
I'm glad that you made clear that there was a difference between Ron and Hermione getting engaged in peaceful times and Lily and James getting married and having a baby in the middle of a war. This whole get-married-right-out-of-Hogwarts business has always bothered me a bit...
I'm looking forward to the next chapter! But I do wonder if Harry really wants to make a "grand entrance" with a dragon to collect his award. |

Heh, I think so too.
I worry about people who marry very young in life. But in the Hogwarts universe - it doesn't bother me. Partly because I do think the relationships Rowling has set up are the ones that she intends to end with in the epilogue. And that is not the norm for life - meeting the one you marry as teens. But she had to go that route because of the sturctural bounds of her own story. Bla bla bla, it's all a ficional construct anyway, bla bla bla.
And no, I'm not just giving myself that out because the story ends with another engagement or anything. Ahem. What?
And no, he really won't want to make his "grand entrance", but that doesn't mean he'll manage to get out of it. I have to torture the boy a bit. It leads to more grouchy cuteness.
Thank you so much for all the reviews! |

Harry and Ginny seem they are happy, and Ron and Hermione are happy, together. That's nice. |

Heh, they are happy now...
Just teasing. R/H remain happy - they're the stable contrast. H/G have a bit of angst, but where would the story go without a bit of angst? |
