Not one that I'd even thought about--but fascinating. | Thursday 6th July 2006 12:28 | No Devil or Redeemer (Author Response) | I love what you're doing with this. It's such an interesting premise. Thank you so much! I realy love writing "historical fanfiction"; there are subtle references in the books: the stuff at Grimmauld Place, the paintings, the Black family tree tapestry, the scene where Dumbledore and Harry "visit" the Gaunts- I just let my imagination go, and write it down. | Ladybug Wednesday 5th July 2006 21:42 | No Devil or Redeemer | She didn't think to wonder why.
Ooooh! This sentence gave me the shivers. I fear you're painting a facade of elegance and propriety here when really you're leading us down a dark and forbidden path. But if not, I shall enjoy this wonderful tale just as much. Bring on the musical evening, I say! | Thursday 6th July 2006 12:12 | No Devil or Redeemer (Author Response) | I fear you're painting a facade of elegance and propriety here when really you're leading us down a dark and forbidden path
Who can say? Propriety and elegance are so often facades. . .
Thanks for reading, I'm so gald you're enjoying this! | Evelyn Wednesday 5th July 2006 14:23 | No Devil or Redeemer | Wee... Two updates! And here I was already thinking of contacting you about whether you'd abandoned this story.
Both chapters have been very enjoyable and really well written. I'm growing fond of Lucrezia. Only Romanus Black is still a mystery to me - but then, I think he's supposed to be that.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter(s)! | Thursday 6th July 2006 12:09 | No Devil or Redeemer (Author Response) | Wee... Two updates! And here I was already thinking of contacting you about whether you'd abandoned this story.

Thank you! I'm glad you like the actual writing; this is my first "novel".
Romanus is a bit gothic, isn't he |
