How could their feelings have gone so wrong? This is all very curious. I'm intrigued. Thanks for writing. p

Après La Vie
Curious chapter.

I am still wondering about Ginny’s frigidness toward Harry. They are working together in a dangerous environment. Despite past differences, there needs to be some cooperation toward letting old issues lie, to concentrate on the task at hand.

You’ve done a great job of establishing the fact that something huge happened in their lives that left no option of forgiveness. Either that or there would have to be some serious mending of fences within the family. I understand that she feels isolated due to the snubs and cold shoulders from everyone because of what she knows and obviously everyone has suspicions about her extensive knowledge of dark magic. It seems as if she has allowed all of life’s miseries to camp on her doorstep though, and she is deeply mistrustful of anyone from her past. The mysterious love in her life apparently has something to do with it however, she just attended her father’s funeral, was there no chance at blood being thicker than water; quite curious.

I really liked the ending to this chapter. Ginny shows great poise and determination in escaping the Death Eater despite the spell that is taking over her body. You have given her great convictions and maintained the feisty attitude from canon. I took Harry’s concern for her as a hint toward an opening for possible reconciliation. People who are truly good-hearted always hold out hope for those they’ve known to be good in the past.

The continued dreams/recollections of past interludes with a forbidden love really add a nice bit of intrigue to the story. Quite tantalizing in fact, when one is trying to decipher what may have happened that was bad enough to cause Ginny’s schism from the ‘close-knit’ Weasley family.

Well done!

i really like the story so far... and based on the clues left, i can confidently say that i have worked out who the guy Ginny dreams about is and consequently what it is that happened ten years ago...... i'm not going to post my suspicions because i don't want to ruin the story for anyone else..... good luck with it I hope you post the next chapter soon

I really like your story. This is going to be a difficult reconciliation for Ginny. She seems to have lost so much in her 10 years away. But I do detect some warmth in her towards Harry and look forward to seeing them get back together ....... while chasing this elusive criminal.
