:O i wonder what that photographer got??
I think that i would kill my mom if she insisted on inviting people that I dont even know to my wedding :p They probably only want to come because it is harry potter....

I think so - it wasn't my favorite thing to do.

"It's an ordeal to allow the family to let go of their daughter," Luna explained. Then her face lit up with excitement. "Maybe Daddy is going to throw me in the volcano!"

"Luna." Ginny laughed helplessly. "Your dad is not going to throw you in a volcano."

"No." Luna sighed. "He's going make me report the news."

LOL - I do love Luna. (And I would hate to be a reporter - even for a crackpot paper like The Quibbler) Thanks for reading - I know how busy you are!

So Miranda was involved. I hope her words don't turn out prophetic . Interesting how she can turn an apology into a snipe; though I guess she didn't really come to apologize but to see if she'd been successful in hurting Ginny in some way.
So sad for Luna to still have tormenters; I would have hoped that her role in the Ministry 'Battle' would have won her some respect and silenced her tormenter. Interesting match with Nott; not one I would've imagined.
Aunt Muriel isn't quite the Thoroughly Modern Millie, is she?
'Ginny wondered if she had a knack for homemaking' -- shadows of Aunt Muriel?
I like the Tiara -- I hope Ginny wears it; somehow it just seems fitting.
I hope Harry and Ginny get that photographer (maybe Ginny's bat bogey hex ).

Unfortunately in HBP Luna's status had not risen since the DoM fight - and even her "date" with Harry didn't seem to do much for her social standing. ("I miss the DA, it's like having friends") However, there is life after highschool (or Hogwarts) and Luna will have a happy life in this story at least.

Your Luna just kills me. You're so imaginative -- tossing the virgin in the volcano for three days then bringing her back up? Priceless!

I just love Luna! And the thought of her in the topics just makes me laugh - must be too much Gilligan's Island in my youth. Thanks for reading!

Hi!!! Just wanted to shout out that I am reading this story at your lj and I know I say this all the time, but it is amazing. You are such an inspiration and its a treat to see any story from you! Hope to see more soon!

Hey you! I'm so glad to know you're reading! I know it's been a while since I updated on lj - real life and a bunch of writing assignments have taken up my time. I'm working on the next chapter right now. And the plot is thickening! Thanks so much for dropping me a line. Since my beta is writing Harry's point of view, my updates her will not be as fast as on lj.

What a brilliant chapter. Oh no. I can just see the results of that picture. Harry better track him down, and fast, if he can manage. Hahaha. Brilliant job!

I am truly enjoying your story. Something tells me that not all will be sunshine and flowers along the way.

You are writing a great Ginny character..it should be interesting to see what the wizarding world makes of that moving photo. Bloody ****,
what will Ron say? How red can his ears get?
Saturday 30th September 2006 15:33The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
I'm glad you're enjoying Ginny. I have 8 chapters written already, so the updates should come fairly quickly. LOL. You'll see lots of red ears in the next chapter! Thanks for reading!

There will be some fall out from that moving photo, since anything about Harry Potter is going to be interesting to the papers. Such is the life of a hero. Thanks for reading!

Hehe - I've seen a few references to early 20th century books given to Ginny on the "propriety of women". It STILL cracks me up to see them. I love how they always talk about sex as a "marital duty". Sorry... but if I ever date (or marry) someone that feels like it's a duty... shoot me... please

Poor Ginny... weddings are a hassle to plan. Even more so when mums want to make it perfect. *headshake* They never learn. I'm almost certain that you'll have them eloping before too long... especially with that reporter hanging around....

Can't wait till the next time!
Friday 29th September 2006 10:50The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
Those old books are sort of sad and funny at the same time, since everything sounds so grim. Ginny does get tired of the wedding talk quite quickly - you'll see some of that in later chapters.

The reporter is a bit of a plot twist as well. Thanks for reading!

OOhh, Miranda is much more evil than I expected. I hope she doesn't have a NEWT in Divination. Well done.

No she doesn't have a NEWT in Divination - although the plot will thicken (at a leisurely pace)

Whoa! I can't believe a reporter caught that! And I thought it was very tastefully done, btw! Loved the conversation at the beginning about "marital duties" lol. Auntie Muriel certainly doesn't know our Ginny, does she? Harumf! Marital duties, indeed.
Friday 29th September 2006 07:01The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
LOL. Sherry is ready to kill me since she has to "tastefully" cover Harry's POV. Of course when I wrote it, I didn't know she was going to take that on! More about Aunt Muriel and her book to come.

Oh...please, more soon, you're my idol! This is awesome! I especially love the way you're addressing the problems of a 'charmed life'.
Friday 29th September 2006 06:08The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
More is coming. I have the first eight chapters of this already written, so updates should come quickly. Yes, their charmed life has been very interesting to consider. Thanks for reading!

Yikes, how embarrasing would it be for a photographer to catch them skinny dipping, Ginny better make sure her mum doesn't see the newspaper tomorrow, or anyone else for that matter!

LOL - you anticipate so well the issues of the next chapter! Thanks for reading!

AFHSISGVBKhVBdfshv'! I am in love with this chapter. Really I absolutely adored this! I really really really love how you didn't let Molly control the wedding too much, yet you didn't have Ginny hurt her feelings... it's a bit of a trend, I've notived for Ginny and Molly (and sometimes Harry as well) to have a falling out over how much Molly controls the wedding...but something tells me that the way your Molly was... really is how the "real" Molly would be. Absolutely wonderful work!

And I really hate reporters.

You'll see more of Molly in the next few chapters. I think you'll like her then as well. She's a happy woman now that the war is over.

And you'll hate reporters more in the next few chapters! Thanks for reading!
