It stands to reason that Harry and Ginny would get more and more intense as their wedding date gets closer. It is really a shame that some photographer would be so sleezy as to sneek up on them while they are swimming just to get compromising pictures of them in the river. At least they had a really nice time on Ginny first day back from school. That was really special. I look forward to more of "Harry's point of view." Thanks for writing. p

This is absolutely dreamy. Your incorporation of London/Covent Garden into the story was spot on and I loved your links. I as a bit confused with the Queen Mary reference as there is also a liner Queen Mary in Long Beach, California (where I just was). This chapter was languid in a very good way. Flourish of the chapeau!

LOL thank you very much! I have to credit the London "accuracy" to Parakletos (even though I have been there, I haven't seen that particular part, as best I remember). And yes, the "Queen Mary" seems to have found a home in more than one place. From what I could find out online, I'm not quite sure where/how that particular boat is related to the "real" Queen Mary, but it just seemed like a fun/different sort of place to send them to. Glad you're enjoying this, and thanks for reviewing so sweetly!!

Have we lost you, my dear? I like reading the two slants on this fic. They are just different enough to be a great read. Hope to hear from you with new updates real soon. Nov.14th. was a long time ago, and I,m afraid to think that maybe you,re turning this over to st.Margaret. I,m sending you the very best wishes of the coming Holiday season. Jeanne

HI Jeanne...

Thanks for the encouragement! No, you haven't lost me yet! Between family commitments and holidays and end-of-semester-craziness, things just haven't cooperated for me to get any real writing time lately, but I'm planning on remedying that ASAP! I hope to have another chapter done within the next couple weeks or so (depending on how Real Life cooperates, of course!)

Thanks again, and best wishes to you for the holidays, too!

This is very lovely, and most believable. I've been reading The New Zealand Chronicles in its more complete form on SIYE, and so I'm delighted (ever so slowly) to be seeing this end of it.

I think you caught something true when you showed Harry's imagination repeatedly turning the women in the magazines, catalogues and manuals into Ginny. This particular aspect of love -- being drawn magnetically to that one woman more than any other -- is a precious, and for a male, a rare, thing.

You've also handled the physical manifestations of frustrated desire with delicacy without being either misleading or prudish -- this is difficult to do, and I salute you.

Wow, what a great review! THANK YOU! I'm glad you liked it, and I'm especially glad that those certain aspects "worked" for you, as well. And yes, I'm a much slower writer in general than St. M, but she also had a good head start! LOL!! Thanks again, and I hope you continue to enjoy it!

You write Harry so well. I just giggled at the whole incident with the book. What a guy!

I loved reading about Harry and Ginny's date. They did deserve that needed time alone. I especially liked Harry's revelation later that soon he wouldn't have to be apart from Ginny at night.

The swimming scenes were fun, and I enjoyed reading that particular scene at the river from Harry's point of view.

Thanks again for telling us Harry's side.

LOL thanks so much! I enjoyed writing Harry's POV on this too -- he's such a sweet, fun guy to write, and esp. in regard to the things St.M's set up with them. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reviewing!

'something fun' -- oh, no Ron , this book isn't fun at all
Wonderful, marvelous chapter.

LOL true, Ron has no idea what sort of "fun" Harry is having... which is likely a good thing in regard to Harry's health, if nothing else

Thanks for all your help!

I really, really love this chapter. St. Margarets mentioned it would be out soon, and I've been watching for it, and you definitely did not disappoint. Please say you're going to deal with Harry's reaction to the reporter? I know StM already has a wonderful outtake involving the DayDream Charms, but I'd love, love, love a fuller exploration of that.

I'm practically batting my eyelashes at you now. *grin*

LOLOL I honestly haven't decided exactly what "all" I'm going to do about the next parts that St. M has covered, but I'm sure I'll refer to at least parts of it. She's got such a head-start on me (in terms of the writing) that sometimes it's hard to decide what to cover and what to sort of "hurry past". But I'll definitely take your suggestion into consideration Thanks so much for reviewing, and I'm glad you liked it!

Sherylyn, It is such fun to read your story from Harry's point of view after reading St Margarets'. Harry does have a rough time living with so many of Ginny's brothers.

Their evening out to dinner was delightful. Ginny's finally left Hogwarts. Now they are getting married. Yea!

I'm glad you're enjoying it! I've really had a lot of fun writing Harry's POV to such a sweet, special story as St.M writes! She's just the best, and "playing" in her world is just so enjoyable! Thanks for reviewing!

Aww, I enjoyed this. I love randy!Harry. Hee, so loveable and what a charmer! Poor thing, it made me a little sad to think he had no one but a book to turn to, but it was such fun to read! (Sorry, Harry!)

Loved when he tried to hide and Ron chooses that moment NOT to oblivious. Snigger. I really would've liked to see what would happen if he and the twins did discover Harry's secret. Snort.

*snort* the summer's not over yet! LOL!! And yeah, it's sad that he doesn't have anyone to talk to on that, but at least he was smart enough to *get* a book

Thanks for reviewing!

Hehe... that was a close call with Ron to start the chapter. I really wonder what the brothers would do if they saw what Harry was reading? Take the mickey? Hex him? Something else unpleasant?

Poor Harry... couldn't get a moment of peace from picking that book up until Ginny came home... and then it went downhill quicker! Darn hormones!

Harry and Ginny's date was so neat. : ) It's true... sometimes the best relationships are the ones where you can just spend time with each other, talking about anything and everything. I think that's what I like about some "romantic" storylines (ie non-smut) - how the author portrays the relationship. I love the way you and St. Margarets view their relationship here. : ) Great stuff!
Thursday 16th November 2006 12:36Hearts Afire (Author Response)
LOL Going through all those darn hormones and all is bad enough ... but living with your fiancee's *brothers*?! Even though they've got their own hormones, I can't imagine them being too fond of the fact that Harry's hormones want their *sister*!! LOL!!!

And thanks for the comments about the relationship -- I agree. The way St. M's got their relationship down is just perfect. I hadn't originally intended to give them that date, but it just seemed to fit, and I decided they deserved a day like that I'm glad you liked it, too!!

Thanks for reviewing!

Woot! It's finally up! You've made some changes since I've read it - at the beginning with the book. I just love the way you write randy!Harry. He's so endearing. I can't wait to see what you do with the wedding night! *happy sigh*

Oh, that was all that Mary promised it would be - and more. Wonderful. I love Harry's desire to make sure matrimony is all it could ever be for both him and Ginny. Wandless magic... that's just what it is, even if it's not that "wand"less all the time. I also liked that he found a book that, at least compared to the other titles, seemes to focus on the mutual pleasure. A book Ginny can use, too. :-)
There's just so many wonderful lines here, like "Harry couldn't make his voice work properly, not to mention his brain, which seemed to have taken up residence in some other, much less helpful, position in his body." Yeah, whereever could that be...? Oh, my. priceless. All the embarrassing situations for a teenaged male, soon to be married, living with three of his future wife's older brothers... such fun to read.

Thaks for sharing. I loved it!

"After years of bawdy comments from virtually every other bloke he'd ever known, Harry had begun to realize that he probably needed some reliable information about certain matters before he got married."

Heh ... considering that Harry's entire knowledge in that department probably comes from the boys in his dorm and Ron's older brothers (can you honestly imagine Vernon Dursley having 'the talk' with Harry?) I'd say it's about time!

Very cute ... I liked it a lot.

Thanks bunches. And yes, even if Vernon had ever said *any*thing (*shudder*), it certainly wouldn't be anything "helpful"! I'm glad you liked it!
