Wow very erotic it so caught me off guard . But it was a cool chapter very straight foward.
Thanks.

Summing up everything in part 1, this is by far the best harry/ginny fic. Fantastic job, simply great. The culmination of everything in part1:7 couldn't have been written any better to convey a better sense of their situation.

I'm glad you liked it so far. It's all AU now - but I think the essence of H/G's relationship is still consistent with DH.

I'll have you know I read this yesterday and then dreamt all night about my own wedding! What powerful imagery you present!
Friday 20th April 2007 05:20The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
I'm glad the imagery worked. Weddings are so hard to write because they are the same and yet different for everyone. Thanks!

This is, truly, one of the loveliest chapters I've read in a long time. Thank you so much for sharing it with us and have a wonderful holiday season!!

Thank you! I really had a hard time writing it, so I'm glad all of that effort paid off! I can't wait to see what Sherry does with it. I hope you have a holiday as well - with time off! (That's all I want)

Me again. I also wish you a very Merry Xmas, and a Prosperous New year. I will wait for your updates as I print them out for rereading as I said earlier. Jeanne

A very merry Christmas to you, too! Sherry's going to put up a Christmasy one-shot I wrote - so hopefully that will give you a "fix" until the New Year.

Words can hardly describe how much I am enjoying your story. It is awesome. Has Sherilynn given up on hers ? I,ve printed them both out, as I enjoy reading them a second time around. Will anxiously await the New Year and your update. Jeanne.

Sherry is very busy right now, but she's hoping to have some time after Christmas to write. (Which is why I thought we'd stop here with chapters) If you want to read more, Part II is up on live journal. (Same name!)

The New Zealand Chronicles
This is the best R rated chapter I have ever read. It is so beautiful and full of love, real love, so deep that need a new word because just "love" doesn't quite express it.
I have enjoyed all chapters of this fic but this was the best for me.
Now I'm going to your Live Journal.
Happy Holidays

I'm so glad you liked it and that the loving part came out. Anything less than that would be disrespectful to my favorite characters, I think. You're welcome to look around my LJ! Thanks for reading!

St. Margarets, thank you for a lovely fairy tale beginning. I've enjoyed all your fics, and I can't wait for the adventures to come in New Zealand. I LOVE Luna's enchanted flower veil, it sounds exactly like the kind of thoughtful, yet off-beat gift she would give. Tossing virgins to the volcano! How appropriate!

Now for one picky point. I apologize, because it is a silly criticism, but fan comments are an outlet for this pet peeve of mine. It is my loss because it's an obsession that pulls me up short as I read, and then I have to work get back on track.

the teasing was making her taunt with impatience

The word you are looking for is "taut" which is a descriptive word that means under tension. "Taunt" is a noun and is a teasing utterance.

If it was simply a typo, and I am preaching to the choir, I apologize for my perpetual proofreading ways!

Sunday 10th December 2006 06:57The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
Yes, that was a typo! Thanks for pointing that out - we both missed it. I'll have Sherry fix it later. Anyway, I'm glad you liked the fairytale beginning - the plot does deepen in Part II!

That was so beautifully sensual. It was steamy but in a sort of oblique way - we knew what was going on without anyway explicit words or untoward references. Very nice job! Can't wait for Part Two!
Sunday 10th December 2006 05:07The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
I'm glad you liked the chapter. It was so hard to write - to keep it sensual and romantic - but realistic, too. I'm glad it worked for you! Thanks for reading!

Awww - the ending was so cute! Thanks for a realistic first time, Harry is just so ... Harry.

Truly - the New Year! I guess you have a real life to live. Look forward to seeing the next update.
Saturday 9th December 2006 15:22The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
It's my beta who has a life, not me! LOL. I wanted to give her a break. I do have Part II written. It's on my live journal (same name) if you're interested.

I'm glad that Harry seemed like Harry. That's high praise for me! Thanks for reading!

She contently placed her head on his shoulder, wondering what the word was for this bone-deep feeling that was beyond joy.

I loved this line. Beautifully written.
Saturday 9th December 2006 05:23The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
Last lines of chapters can be hard to write, but this one wasn't since to me this is how Ginny feels about finally marrying Harry. Hopefully what preceded showed this and didn't tell it. Sigh. This is why love scenes are sooo hard to write. Thanks for reading!

Ohhh!!! *squee* Wonderful! You've outdone yourself. My heart is full to bursting... this entire chapter was just so romantic! Gah!
Amazing work!!!!!!!
I seriously can't wait for teh New Year. Which reminds me, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! (A little early, but the combination of sun and snow and cold and this fic has made me all happy and giddy.)
Wonderful!!!

I'm glad you thought the chapter was romantic. I so wanted to do my favorite characters justice on their special day. Weddings are always all alike - but always different because of the two who are being married. I wanted to show that here. Thank you for your holiday greetings! The same back to you!

I have another story on my LJ that you might like - it's about Harry and his daughter and it takes place on Christmas day. I think Sherry will post it here, too. But it's there if you're in the mood to read more about Harry and Ginny.

I'd read it in your LJ and was looking forward to reread it here. but it felt even better than I expected. I don't know if you've changed much or if rereading we can enjoy it more thoroughly. I really love it too much to express it.
Their passion, ther frustration, his commitment to her their love. It's all so beautifully written!
Friday 8th December 2006 14:49The New Zealand Chronicles (Author Response)
I'm glad it was enjoyable on re-reading. So many times it's the novelty and surprise that makes something fun to read the first time through. So it's good to know this held up, since I really wanted to do these characters justice.

I changed some transitions and some word choices in the wedding scene. The rest of it is the same.

I'm glad you liked this chapter. It was very hard to write - but very satisfying to finish once I finally mustered up the courage to say what I wanted to say. Sigh. Fluff isn't easy! Thanks for reading!

Sounds like Harry was a bit rushed there, the first time . At least he made it up to her

Yes, Harry was really looking forward to starting married life - bless him. And yes, it all worked out fine for both of them. That's what honeymoons are for.

I love this chapter. It is very appropriate for a wedding and wedding night. Ginny is my favorite character and her thoughts are so faithful to her nature- "It was that ‘please’ that did it – that ‘please’ and the glint of gold from his wedding ring that she happened to see as she looked down on him."

She is finally Mrs Potter (or Waslib). Happy grin!

You didn't have to read it again! Anyway, I'm glad it holds up to a second reading - since it caused me all sorts of agonies to write. Thanks for reading!
