Ok. The trial is rigged but that is ok because Harry didn't eat with the Durseley's anyway. Now why did Harry fall asleeep after drinking the tea? Is it drugged or is it his injuries? What will happen next? I look forward to the next part of the story. Thanks for writing. p

Interesting court scene. But is Tonks statement quite right. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't it the case in the British system that the court presumes guilt unless proven innocent? Wouldn't that mean that Tonks has to prove to the court that Harry didn't poison them rather then the prosecution having to prove that Harry did? That's what I've heard anyway -- and hearsay doesn't stand in a court of law.
Very creative approach to getting Harry out of a seemingly impossible situation.

Thanks for the review, it is much appreciated. Have to say though that you are mistaken in one thing. The British legal system is very much an innocent until proven guilty one. Having worked in the Court service and for numerous solicitors I can honestly claim that to be true. Thanks again for taking the time to review.

Thanks for the update! This is really going well. It would be very hard to prove guilt. Harry could just claim that he ran in, saw the bodies, and ran away.

Thanksss
Ed.

Yes! He has proof that he wasn't there when it happened! I'm enjoying the court proceedings very much! Do update soon!
