Cleo and Sherman are both marvelously hideous, and Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, are all wonderfully written, as usual! Another wonderful fic cwarbeck! A chapter full of revelations. We now know who the twins take after. Were Gideon and Fabian as bad? What became of Anne Charleston and Beverly Smith? Will Luna make an appearance? I'd like to see the Sherman Love Machine run into the Luna seen in HBP.
Too bad that Tonks left. If Sherman didn't know that Tonks is a metamorphmagus there was great potential for getting back at him.
If Cleo is a squib then her behavior isn't so much annoying as it is pitiful.
Given the name, I visualize Sherman more as a younger version of Sherman 'the Sherminator' from American Pie than as Farmer Ted. Farmer Ted is a basically good guy who shows suprising sympathy for Samantha.

| Ah, "The Sherminator". LOL. I wasn't too sure how much of a hit "American Pie" (or "The Terminator" for that matter) was in the UK so I didn't know if that moniker would have made sense in this fic, but you're right, Sherman is as brash as his namesake. Maybe given time though, plus a good kick in the bum by Ron, Sherman would have been more sympathetic towards the girls. |

| Well, Harry is deffinitely paying a lot of attention to Ginny and sharing jokes with her. The diving contest was great. They had a lot of fun. Even with Cleo, the wet blanket, there. He is making her unmentioned birthday a lot better. I think someone needs to tell "Sherman the Love Machine" that he needs to cool it! He is completly out of line. At least Harry was making it easier for Ginny to get away from him. Ron did a good job of sending Sherman running. I hope Molly remembers Ginny's birthday before the day ends. A girl only turns 16 once. Of course with a house full of company poor Molly is understandably distracted. Are garden gnomes attracted to squibs? That might explain her parents indulgence in her wild ways. I am glad that Molly was given an example of a "worse swim suit"! It would be too bad if Harry and Ron were deprived of the wonderful "view" of their favorite girls! I look forward to the next chapter. Thanks for writing. p |

I think you mean a mallard - which is a type of duck. A maillot is a swimsuit, or as Ron learned from Hermione in chapter 2:
“A mah – yoh,” said Hermione, enunciating slowly as if talking to a two-year-old. “A one-piece bathing suit for women, simply styled and usually having a scoop neck and shoulder straps. Or, in terms you can understand, a swimming costume.”
Although the mental image of Hermione wearing her sundress over a duck is hilarious. Thanks for the review. |

Ah, another great chapter... how do you do it? I have to say that I was worried as I got closer to the end. I was worried that Harry was finally going to admit his feelings and then the story would be over. Thankfully, not the case! In fact, you managed to even throw us a loop there with Cleo!
I love the interaction between Harry and Ginny. You write them so realistically in their teenage feelings of embarassment, bliss, and anger, all in a matter of a few moments. It just feels real.
