My God! I have now read all your stories and I'm absolutely infatuated. They're just marvellous. So sweet and heart-felt without being schmaltzy, and terribly amusing too. And every one of them has me tearing up, and I never cry. Plus 'Sixteen Candles' is one of of my all-time most beloved films, so I really couldn't ask for anything more. I have never wanted be Ginny Weasley more than I do at this moment. I know I should probably be concerned that I'm 25-years old and still want to marry Harry Potter, but screw that! Thanks so much, and please do keep on writing about everybody's favourite fictional couple. It makes the world a brighter place, and that can never be a bad thing. May the Force be with you! |

Another lovelly story, always love it when harry comes clean. I did wish that harry had present a real present to her (a nice broom). but than again that would be just toping to the story. |

*repetitive squealing* I think you're my comedic hero, and that ending was fantastically splendid! Thanks for writing that; I think you made my week. |
Wednesday 27th June 2007 08:08 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
Oh, I like reviews that start of with repetitive squealing. And I have to tell you, nobody's called me their comedic hero before! Thank you and I'm so glad you enjoyed this story. |

Oh! Oh dear! This was such a brilliant story! It had the perfect amount of fluff and humour and a tiny-practically-non-existent amount of angst! Lovely work! Absolutely wonderful!! This fic just made me so happy! *sigh*
I so want to read this over and over again! Awesome work! |
Saturday 16th June 2007 20:59 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
tiny-practically-non-existent amount of angst, eh? You're so right! I'm happy this story made you happy (how redundant is that?). Thanks so much for your kind words and all the smileys! |

A happy end - what a pity. Don't get me wrong, I like happy ends, I'm just disappointed that you're done with the story. But I suppose you can't draw out a one-day-story for too long.
Thanks for writing. |
Saturday 16th June 2007 02:19 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
You're right, I couldn't drag out the story any longer. After all ,there are only so many hours in one day!
Thanks for the review! |

As Napolean Dynamite would say, \"Flippin\' Brilliant!\"
No one, and I repeat no one, can write the twins like you can -- fantastic! I was howling. And this was funny, sweet, witty -- everything I adore about your writing!!
Brava, my dear. You are the best!
So. What\'s next?

Friday 15th June 2007 07:00 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
Hullo h. You are way too generous with your comments, but I'll take flattery where I can get it!
What's next? Well, I'm planning to upload one of my older stories, so that I can archive most of them here at PS, which has been really good to me, most especially my beta - Sherry! (Hi Sherry )
Congrats to you on your epic! I can't believe you're almost finished with it. What a ride! |

well it seems that Ginny got exactly what she wanted! i wish that Fred and George's gift actually existed though. i know that you can buy a talking card, then balloons, then roses. but to have all that in one little package is brilliant! wonderful job on the story! |
Friday 15th June 2007 06:54 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
Those two are brilliant, aren't they? I also wish that WWW actually existed!
As for Ginny, well, I think she deserved such a happy ending to her day. If I were her, I wouldn't want to change anything - especially since I'd wind up with Harry! |
Grandma Kate Thursday 14th June 2007 03:36 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday |

Is there going to be a sequel to this story as I have always looked forward to reading this one in particular?

Eep. I'm bowled over by your praise.
I'm sorry to say that there's no sequel to this story. I generally suck at them.
Thanks again. You really are The Boss! |

This story was very well done. Thank you so much for writing. I love the ending. That was sweet. I'm glad the relatives are going home and that Harry and Ginny are together now. I look forward to anything else you would like to write. p |

Oh, thank you for your kind words. I had a blast with this story, and of course it was so much fun collaborating with Athea! |
honourary_weasley Thursday 14th June 2007 01:25 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday |
Aww! That was beautiful! Really very sweet - perhaps it was a little too sugary at the end, but Fred and George's present made up for that! Lovely resolution of the Cleo affair too, that's very cute of the garden gnomes to want to be with Cleo ... poor Cleo *snigger*
Fred and George certainly do have style, don't they? I'd love to see them propose to someone - I'm sure it would be very entertaining! *hint hint* |
Thursday 14th June 2007 02:45 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
"Sweet" seems to be the word of the day. I admit, the ending's probably too good to be true (how often has that happened in real life?) but what the hey - Ginny deserves it after Cleo and Sherman!
Thanks for the review, and I'm glad you liked the twins' gift. Really their style, eh? |
reenee Thursday 14th June 2007 01:20 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday |

Ah.....I love a good happy ending. From the moment she woke up I knew what Ginny really wanted for her birthday....thanks for letting her get there. And nasty cousin is a squib? That's just the cherry on top! |
Thursday 14th June 2007 02:43 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
Oh, we all knew what Ginny really wanted for her birthday! Good thing she got it, huh?
Poor Cleo though. You have to feel a little sorry for her... but then again, maybe not! |
icegirl Wednesday 13th June 2007 23:04 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday |
So sweet!!!! That was fantastic! Cleo a squib- Ron and Hermione- everybody remembered her birthday- and she kissed Harry! Bloody fantastic! Hope you soon write another story or a sequel! |

Aww that really takes me back in time. I must have watched Sixteen Candles
about twenty or more times. Then I read your story and waited impatiently for
your updates. The ending was too sweet.

I hope that when you say 'too sweet', it's a good thing!
Thank you for the review, and I'm glad I struck a chord with all those Sixteen Candles fans out there. Hopefully the younger generation will watch the movie and fall in love with it too! |
ibelieveintruelove Wednesday 13th June 2007 21:01 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday |
Aww! That is so cute! Absolutely wonderful, it\'s just a perfect Harry/Ginny moment! And it really hints back at Sixteen Candles at the end, which is pretty sweet too. Great story, do you think that you\'ll have an epilogue?
Well, either way, congratulations on a job well done! |
Wednesday 13th June 2007 22:32 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday (Author Response) |
I absolutely died at the ending of Sixteen Candles way back when I was 16 myself. Huh. Actually, I still do whenever I happen to watch it again. I'm such a sucker for romantic mush.
No plans for an epilogue, but hopefully I'll be posting another story soon. Thanks. |
Felix Felicis Wednesday 13th June 2007 19:01 | The Unforgettable Forgotten Birthday |
Ah, what a lovely bit of fluff; it's my favorite type of story! Great job in keeping us interested and with the plot in general. Naturally, everyone finally realized that it was Ginny's birthday and it all turned out all right. I really did feel sorry for Mrs. Weasley but since Ginny had had a good day - in the end - it didn't matter. I've enjoyed this more than I can say and I'll be adding it to my list of favorite stories just as soon as I finish this review. Thank you for sharing this with us, it was truly an enjoyable read! |
