How refreshing! Your Ginny is spot on here, I love how you wove all of her feelings, all of the previous events, and her loyality into a composite of her that just makes sense. She's beautiful and now we know why Harry loved her so much.

| That was great. He definitely should have slammed the door on Ron the summer prior. I was thinking that earlier when I reread that chapter. I like that you brought it full circle with Ron and Hermione barging in again. I was also glad Ginny didn't hang around for Mr. We Have All the Time in the World. She'd waited quite long enough. I was pretty upset with Harry for handling her that way in the book. Took a lot for granted, I thought. |

| This is fabulous. I've spent six grumpy months since DH feeling that Ginny really got shortchanged. After she spends a year waiting patiently for Harry, he vanishes again with Ron & Hermione at the first opportunity? While I absolutely wanted them to end up together, it was hard to see how that was going to happen and still leave Ginny's pride intact (at least without some tired angsty on-again-off-again cliche). This was perfection, beautifully in character and showing finally that Harry does have his priorities straight. Thank you so much! |

This is without a doubt one of the best "Harry goes looking for Ginny post-battle fics" that I have ever read. You handled it brilliantly. Bravo!! Those last two lines were perfect.

| Oh what a wonderful story! I really enjoyed it and I think it was an excellent way to fill in all of the gaps left in the Harry/Ginny relationship by the seventh book. You addressed all of the issues that JKR skipped over and still managed to make it terribly romantic and enjoyable. The ending was very funny too, I always love it when Ron tries to interrupt Harry and Ginny. Congrats on an excellent story! |

You've captured Ginny's confusion and pair quite well. Your Harry is very good at being persistent. I had to laugh at the ending.
"So…um…how's it going in here?" Ron asked trying to look innocent as he glanced between the two of them.
"Ron," Ginny said dangerously as visions of last summer's interrupted birthday present flashed through her mind. "Sod off."
"Um…is that good or bad?" Ron inquired an instant before the door swung shut with a bang.
Looking over in surprise, Ginny found Harry with his wand pointed at the door. He met her gaze before tucking his wand into his back pocket with a small grin.
"Should've done that last summer," he murmured, pulling her back against him.
"Yes, you should have," she smiled against his lips before melting into his embrace. |
