Both Harry and Ginny can be far too noble at time, they should just give in and have fun!

I'm sure they both would have loved to do that.

I like this story, the last two chapters have been very sad, but that is what happened in the book to those two. Can't wait to read the next chapter! Cheers!

as I said in any early response to a review, DH was not really a fluffy happy time for Harry and Ginny with the exception of one moment.

How is it that you understand Ginny so well?
This is a perfect example of how she has accepted that Harry is doing the right thing by breaking up with her.
I am really enjoying this!

Not sure, I just I dunno, understand her, she is the character I most relate to. I find it much easier to get into her mind than any other characters.

I feel so bad for Ginny. We always knew it wouldn't be easy for her but this just breaks my heart. Well done, I can't wait for more!

Agreed, I think anyone who thinks Ginny had an easy year needs a serious reread.

Good chapter, Mate!

This struck me as being too true-

“Can you just make sure that he doesn’t do something brave and noble that gets him killed.” Ginny’s voice was shaking. “Promise me, you’ll bring him back.”

“I can’t.”

She knew how dangerous this was going to be, and she was not going to give anyone, not least Ginny, false hope.

Hermione is pretty noble, too.

As well as Ron, Neville and most likely Luna too. Its what we love about them all.

I loved this chapter, especially the last line, "Maybe Harry was not the only noble one in that relationship." It's so true! JKR left Ginny out of DH for the most part because her and Harry were separated and Harry was staying away from her by keeping her safe. While that is very noble of him, I'm sure many readers were disappointed that Ginny didn't force Harry to take her back despite the dangers. But Ginny didn't do that, she took a leaf from Harry's book on being noble and self-sacrificing and sacrificed her own happiness so that the love of her life could go and save the world. She is just as brave and noble in DH as Harry was, and I'm thrilled to see you demonstrate that in your story. Excellent chapter, update soon!

We have talked about this loads over at yahoo. Ginny was faced with a role and whether she liked it or not (most likely not) she couldn't do any more than she did, leading the hogwarts resistance, being underage. So she was not going to throw a fit or show Harry was in pain.

Yet from Ron's words about her being 'cut up' after the kiss shows she was suffering.

I've been very much enjoying this set of vignettes. I really liked the first and second one, and the third and fourth were very well done. I'm really looking forward to some more happiness though--the angst is killing me!
Well-written, and very poignant.

thank you,

as for the happiness well DH wasn't a very happy book for Harry and Ginny romance wise.

What was the argument that Ginny had about being left out? Would it have anything to do with the seven Potters?

that would be about right, i've penned in a scene on paper dealing with this.

Interesting. Any chance we will see this soon?

I loved the conversation between Ginny and Hermione at the end. "Just this once, lie to me." Ooh. And I also love how you aren't having Ginny complain that he's leaving her behind, since Jo told us herself in book 6 that Ginny understood. Nice chapter.

thank you, I think despite some big difference they are close and honest with each other.

Ginny knows she is an underage witch with the trace on her and she has not learnt enough yet, as of the end of the books (pre epilogue) she is still not legally allowed to Apprarate, she's not going to hang around to put those she loves in danger.

WHAT!? I thought you said there would be some nice Ron decpritions... Oh, wait, Im reveiwing sorry-sidetracked. I love how hermione is soo perceptive.
he looked at Ginny showed that all he really wanted was to forget other people’s problems and just be back in that relationship with Ginny.

also, then how you really fill in a missing link with Ginny's thinking.
“Can you just make sure that he doesn’t do something brave and noble that gets him killed.” Ginny’s voice was shaking. “Promise me, you’ll bring him back.”

I'm really enjoying this story so update again soon!
