“Scott Kharan,” Snape said, caressing the syllables.

I LOVE that description, it's so very Alan Rickman. On to the next chapter, I'm engrossed and hoping I have enough time to read it before work!

Oh, and hilarious that the love potion smells like pussy to Scott. ^_^

I don't care much for the films, but it's true that I did write that while hearing Alan Rickman speak it in his very best Hans Gruber voice.

Oh, and hilarious that the love potion smells like pussy to Scott.

Hey, now, I never said that...

I'm really enjoying this story. It's a cool angle, especially having Scott's point of view to tell the story. Keep it up!

I think a lot of other readers would probably prefer when the canon cast is used for the point of view, original characters can be jarring, especially as the focus of the narrative. Obviously, I myself enjoy what Scott has to say, and I'm pleased that you do as well.

Thanks for reviewing.

Wow. Lol Scott is my idol!
“You’re right,” Scott agreed. Hermione began to give him an approving smile for his penance but then he added, “If I had done it a little harder, he might have broken his neck. Ah, well. Missed opportunities.”

Amazing chapter. I love how Scott plans the seed (no pun intended) in Harry's mind about Ginny ^_^

Scott's tactics were less than subtle, but he at least assumed they were effective. That may have been an overestimation on his part.

Ummmmmmmmm! Ginny smells good.... Scott is very curious. Like that he can multi task. Most guys cant do that, at all. He better watch what he says about Ginny in front of Ron. He may be dence, but he isn't stupid. Great chapter. enjoyed very much.

I'd guess that Ginny probably smells great, as Harry will eventually learn to appreciate. Well, I suppose he already appreciates it, but he'll learn to appreciate it from a closer proximity.

Scott's ability to multitask is not natural, but just another aspect of his training. It's a useful ability, albeit one that often escapes me.

Ron is many things, but stupid is not one of them. His automatic objections to the way Scott sometimes talks about Ginny to Harry will be tempered by his desire to see Harry and Ginny together, since he doesn't consider anyone else worthy of her affections.

Thank you for reviewing. It's always highly appreciated.

I am trying to update more frequently. But you see, first I have to edit the chapter down to a T rating and change the formatting a little for posting here, then I have to send it into my Beta, then my Beta has to send it into Phoenixsong, and then I think someone at Phoenixsong looks it over to make sure I'm not slipping more than my allotted share of profanity passed them.

Thanks for the review. I crave them so.

Oh... Bad Nova, bad cliffie!

So according to Scott, Tom Riddle is a thimble full problem? Yikes, the boy has definitely played in some big leagues. I still enjoy his American um... irreverence in comparison to the rest of the student population, and staff population too. The momentum of this story is picking up and I look forward to seeing how terrifying it becomes.

Scott's played in the biggest of leagues, and for the biggest of stakes, but his thoughts were not entirely reflective of the whole truth.

View things from this perspective - Hitler, nothing more than a bitter Muggle, conquered a sizable portion of the world within a space of roughly four years. Voldemort, supposedly the most powerful Dark Wizard of his time, hasn't even been able to conquer the U.K after having decades to do so (to be fair, Hitler didn't manage it either. Apparently, it's much harder than it looks). Scott looks at Voldemort and sees a man without an army, without a wide base of nationalistic support, and without any technological disparity on the level of atom bombs versus spears. In short, he sees Voldemort as nothing more than a glorified terrorist.

Now, all of this skips some pretty important facts that Scott sort of glossed over. However, I can't go into depth about them since that would spoil the next chapter.

So I guess you get two cliffhangers - one in the chapter, and one in this review response. You can go ahead and hate me if you want. Maybe if I cried myself to sleep every night I would get more rest.

Thanks for reviewing my dubious work of fiction.

Another wonderful chapter. I really enjoyed it. I think its fun to read the way you have incorporated cannon and made it your own. Well done. I can't wait for Scott's explanation.

Scott's explanation should answer a lot of your questions, assuming you can stomach that much exposition. I really hope you can, because it's coming in a big way.

Thanks for reviewing.

Another really cool chapter. That Scott is something else (in quite a few ways). He seems so confident. I wonder if there are any surpirses for Scott lurking around the corner.

As for Miss Timous, (great name) though missing in action in this thapter, I wonder if she will pop up with any of these surprises.

I'm heading off to Fan Fiction net to see if you have any other stories out there. I like your writing. Quite skillful.

He managed to surprise himself in this chapter - what happened between him and Snape was not something he had planned on. His confidence in his ability to do what he thinks needs to be done remains unshaken, and will for the most part remain that way. The variable that most often plagues him in this things is the question of what the price will be for completion.

It's funny how much of a response Kylie's received so far considering her status as a peripheral character. Maybe I should try to work her into things more often.

I have a number of other stories at Fanfiction.net. However, given that my writing has improved over the course of a great many years of both reading and righting fanfiction, I rather doubt that my older works will be to your satisfaction. In fact, I should probably warn you away from them.

Thank you for reviewing.
